Why is the Dynamic Building Damage OFF all the servers and force us to raid/def 18:00 to 23:00?

Some one let me know why is this settings are used on official servers? And why is this good?
Dynamic Building damage system was a really good idea against offline raids. Why funcom not use it?

I dunno why they donā€™t. I guess itā€™s a financial thing maybe? Only one type basically. There are a few ā€œNo Pingā€ limitation servers but besides that I guess they only maintain PvP, PvE, and PvE-C for PC, Xbox, and PS. Others will maybe know more - or disagree all togetherā€¦ ~=shrug=~

Mainly cause dynamic building system can be abused with no way to stop it.

I agree 5h raid window is tooo long - not everyone have time to play 5 h each day - its riddiculous.

You miss-understand me. And you donā€™t really understand why is a good configured dynamic building damage can make this game better to everyone.

Maybe you didnt understand what people tried to tell you. The system was/is abusable. It was flawed to the core when they planned to implement it, thats why people complained about it and rightfully so. They were supposed to work on it and make it less abusable but nothing really happened.

Dont get me wrong, a lot of people (including me) would like to see some kind of offline raid protection or the dynamic system enabled but its not as easy to implement if people just can exploit it to not get raided ever again.

If its exploitable funcom will just scrap it and never fix it.

Look back years ago when you could knock out other players thralls. Great aspect to the game but it got exploited and caused huge dupes. Instead of fixing the dupe funcom just removed the ability to knock out other peoples thralls.

Dynamic raid will never come into the game because itā€™s easily exploitable

There is an issue to raid someone when dynamic system enable when that player/s was long time not online?

So somehow if they fix it or re-think this option could be a chance to make 0-24 raid time again?

Why they dont make servers with 0-24 raid and this 18:00 to 23:00 and every can deiced how want to play.

Yes. But you already had a taste of the negativity here. It was never tried - just introduced and then hyper-criticized with no effort to make it better or anything - just left in place and defaulted to off.

Here is an idea which you can take with a grain of salt since I do not play on PvP servers so my idea could be flawed at best.

Perhaps, having a system where a player / clan could schedule a raid like Age of Conan had but only scheduled during raid hours. Give the player/clan a weekā€™s notice. That way, offline raiding will be less likely (although if you do not defend after it was scheduled, then the fault lies with the defenders) and raiding defense will only occur once a week max per clan/player. Side effect, a player/clan may only schedule one raid per week. (This will slow down those server hoppers as well)

Is this a perfect system, no. Just an idea using an old Funcom system.

Iā€™d love a few servers with DBD. Right now if you want to play PvP you have to commit 6 to 11, 7 days a week, like wthā€¦

What I am about to say isnā€™t something I condone, agree with, or think is ā€˜fineā€™. It is merely an observation and an educated speculation.

DBD is likely off for the same reason servers are not wiping*. Official servers are as they were in 2018, and will be as they are in 2028*. This means the several tens of thousands of players who have decided to play there (this includes current active players, semi-active players; refreshers, and inactive players with characters that still exist even if their bases are long decayed) knew the sever settings and style as they were setup and likely expect that to be the same when they login tonight, tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, or next decade*.

There was no DBD in 2018, and those players like/appreciate/prefer it that way. Because honestly, DBD will change how everyone plays the game. The way people PVP on servers with scheduled PVP and with 24/7-DBDenabled are quite different. Other aspects of the game need to be adjusted to ensure a optimum way of playing.

The optimum way of playing is different from player to player. Hence why it was relegated to private servers. Officials are the way they are because everyone who played on them, agreed with how they were and have done so for a little over four years now.

*this assumes officials have a lifespan exceeding a decade from now, and that some (or in the future, all) are shut down because they can no longer be supported by their owners and the playerbase itself.

Nowā€¦ my personal opinion is that they should simply turn PVP to 24/7 with DBD on and deal with the consequences. I think this would be better for the players that play on those servers whether they know it or not, or like it or not. But admittedly, I have no clue what it would do to their over all experience. Funcom thus far, doesnā€™t share my opinion on this as far as I know.

Scheduled raids would suckā€¦ especially beacuse they could just move the loot

24/7 would suck, that would just mean most raids would be offlineā€¦ most people will claim they dont offline raid but the moment they lose to said clan in combat pffline suddenly looks great to most.

Ive went up against this one bigger clan, they couldnt win a fight to save their lives, we logged off early one day about 2 hours before raid time and 15 minutes later they hit us, luckily i had a bad feeling and jumped on a half hour after i got off

I can literally use multiple accounts / have few friends that will wall off my base and never log in on that account - base will be literally unraidable unless You have some solution for that problem?
Not to mention there will be building spam everywhere, people will build and leave bases everywhere -littering on all map, they will just go offline and thatā€™s it.

Raiding and defending must be 24 hours a day. Like all others games (ark, rust ā€¦).
With may be better attack and defense systems.

Yeah sure and come back online to start from scratch everytime or play 24/7ā€¦
Do You realize that rust is different game? For example everything is easy to get and thatā€™s how game is developed. It will never work in Conan Exiles - you need to grind a lot for everything, progression takes time.
