Why PvP SERVER / ITEM transfer is wrong decision

Just as a heads up, I don’t know about PS but there is a way you can do something similar on Xbox. I’m not going to share it here because in this very particular case it would likely be considered an exploit by Microsoft

So You think that’s good, of course not, people should let them know that we want have fair battlefield.

Oh yes you need, because what matters to win is gear to have better builds, if a clan needs to hide in another server to farm bombs it is a weak clan and a weak clan with thousands of bombs is just a gift for the Alpha clan, their only option is the offline raid (and with the transfer the offline raid does not wipe anyone).

Not really, gear is not most important thing.

Wrong, now its more important killing people in pvp than raiding their base. Mose fun, lees time needed to play.

You can speak for yourself but there’s majority people that think different, mostly exploiters and there’s alot of them on official servers and those people we should be afraid of as they will do anthing to abuse something for easy win.

As I said with trasnfer wipe a clan has no sense now

Honestly your feelings are wrong… We are 10 active players (5-7k hours each one) clan and with my clan I have gone through about 5-6 servers fighting against the strongest clans there. The problem is that when you have raided them they leave and attacking newbies is not fun, so we always have to go to a new server. That is why I also think that the transfer is good: if the enemy clan has the will to fight, it can always come with more resources, it does not have to leave the server if its base is raided, it becomes more pvp.

Of course im not against server transfer, there’s just problem with room for abusement and it have to be fixed.

Try to fight with 4str 4 vit with regular weapons vs 5 str 5 vit with weapons with same damage as yours but with permanent poison/bleeding/sunder armor/remove buffs spears and tell me later…

Because a wiped clan if they was wiped offline for example and they want to revenge can just transfer loot from other server and keep fighting.

I was meaning in general as steam games not specifically Conan exiles

That’s where the problem lies if I can’t take any thing else than that I just stay on one server as I can’t have both maps items that are exclusive to them and I now don’t have much reason to use the transfer. But again it’s just came out and they will need time to see the + and - to determine what needs tweaking which will be weeks before the have enough data to make a proper change until then play with it some and use it to see what all might happen.

P.s. they could just ban item specific from transfer anyway. Booms, powder, tokens, etc

Well i think it would be better to just give option to get siptah exclusive items / sigils in EL.

Ummm, I was in the middle of typing a reply when it was delisted and I have kept up with the whole thread since it started. There were no abusive posts per say. Some heated arguments but this is a hot topic. Please relist the post, thank you. @Community

As a drop like legendary chest in world bosses that way it would give us reason to fight them would be nice. They also mentioned on a dev stream that if people really wanted it that they would bring some features to both maps from both maps and could as this in as well. I just want to craft and have and find everything as I neither abuse or cheat(unless cheat counts as old axe move after all npcs attack me😝) but it’s a two way knife as usual if it’s done kindly people will use it right and people will use it wrong. If it’s done harshly it stops the wrong and displeases the right

I’m wondering if there might be false positive on what happened with the unlisted in which case they aren’t angry about post but it most likely won’t get undue to Monday as funcom generally doesn’t work weekends.

I get that the Oslo crew gets to take vacations all summer, but they have a US based location also. I also know that they ARE staffed on weekends. I have to agree with @Mefistos that the delisting makes no sense. @community needs to fix this.

To be honest single players mode is different on how it works and a standalone causes honestly we can just spawn stuff in so it won’t matter if they do cause we just bypass it anyway :laughing::rofl::laughing::stuck_out_tongue::tongue::rofl::joy::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::laughing::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::sweat_smile:

While that’s true, that’s not “playing the game.” As a Singleplayer, I want to actually “play” – which means running the dungeons, reaping a set of rewards, and if necessary, go back again to get more. As a general rule of thumb, I usually only use the the Admin Panel to replace items lost because of bugs eg-if a thrall or item inexplicably disappears, or a shrine disappears while upgrading. If I just ‘spawned’ items in, yes, that’s very possible, but its not ‘playing.’

The point still stands for me. Its not a one size fits all approach. If PvP dont want items to transfer with them then that is fine, but that doesnt mean the Singleplayer and PvE should function the same way. Anyway, this will likely be my last post for this thread, as it is a thread both tagged and intended for PvP players. And given that I am not one with any regularity, I feel it is best for me, having said my peace, to just let them mull over their own solutions.

No I’m sorry it was said it is a standalone and will not be changed it was said and posted by devs and will function differently than online server system. I said that to assure in in my post but I just found it really funny is all but the single players version is not the one they use for online as they had to do the way it works very different to online offline so rest assured that these change to online will not affect single players.

Ps they might do updates to single players version to increase capability or ease of use or to allow more functions to it but only time will tell

Yeah i said it multiple times that PvE/PvC server transfer is fine right now, just PvP transfer needs adjustment.
