Why are you all so mean to him? You act very toxic towards him and should be ashamed of yourself.
He just said he sees Funcom able to do a medieval themed survival game. I see no shame in that. Why can people not say they are in love with the game so much that they wish Funcom would do another Conan like game just with another era.
People love the Nemedian Dlc and its very medival style. And a lot of people wait for Funcom to release more building pieces from that dlc. So the interest is there for sure.
I feel that some of you think, that you are in charge to decide what people can talk about and what not. How about you stay away from topics you are not interested in and let people talk about what they think is important to them.

How often have I heard people complaining about others derailing a topic. Now the same people come here and derailing a persons thread and think this is ok? Do we now measure differently. Because when you do it you think its ok.

First funcom has to deliver a working version of conan exiles! Who will buy games like dune etc. knowing this game studio has massive problems rolling out updates without introducing new or already patched gamebraking bugs + sometimes they almost seem like having no clue what to do. I mean look at that whole disconnect situation. And that dictatorship here in the forum. what stays is a bitter taste.
So NO. I wanna conan to work properly or conan 2, but no other games from this company until conan is that game that it could/should be with the right management!
To be fair, this is the Conan Exiles Forum. It is as relevant to talk about making another game like CE as it is to talk about making a platformer or fps; i.e. not appropriate for the forum for CE. This forum is for talking about CE, which is why even Dune threads are closed. This isn’t the all things Funcom forum.

Bryan definitely isn’t “in love with the game”. Ever since he created his first forum account, he has been asking Funcom to change Conan Exiles into a completely different game to cater to his tastes.
Thanks for suggesting what I can talk about and what not. I’ll take your suggestions under advisement, the same way Bryan can take my suggestion to contact Funcom.

My first suggestion to anyone who has ideas about, well, pretty much anything: don’t offer them up in an unreadable wall of text. Then go on from there.
If you’re asking a company to make an entirely different game more personally suited to your tastes, you might also want to make sure you spell their name correctly. Just a thought.

Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of.
Conan is basically prehistory. But if some one wanted to do a medieval server all the elements are there.

I have several castle style sets (arena, nemedian, storm glass, black ice, etc etc). I have full plate armor in both riders and Siptah not to mention silent legion…I can even joust.
What’s missing?
A detailed laundry list of requests in the opening post. Some examples:
- character specialization classes (warrior, farmer, crafter)
- no magic
- long-range bows
This is what I was talking about in my reply to @Winthor. This is what Bryan always does: propose a detailed game design that is drastically different from Conan Exiles, and then either ignore any counterarguments or tell those who argued that they didn’t read the full post.
The only difference here is that he finally decided to acknowledge that he wants Funcom to make a completely different game for him, rather than asking for these changes to be implemented in Conan Exiles.

In the early 80’s I lived and breathed AD&D. Take away the magic and you’re right back to life is feudal. The grind was real time.

Sorta, You can get it for 5$ time to time, but its hasnt gotten any updates once team moved on to another project using many of assets… and then abandon that one for another project.
Its insanely hard “solo” since its meant as a online game…
Me personally, would love Stranded Deep to have some alone time with Conan Exiles…

That is not how an open forum works. It is more like the British Parliament, where everyone tries to out-scream and out-insult each other.
Also Bryan likes the attention, he will answer every post just to keep the thread alive. They are just giving him what he craves.
