In all honestly someone asked if it was worth coming back, and if you step back and look at whats been done versus whats coming up there really is no need to return, and if you looking for a progressive game that keeps growing this is not it, they have stated nothing major will be done with this game again, a patch here a patch there, a bug fix here and there and a new RF T2 added, i love this game, but it has no future, if you are out find something newer, something thats supported way better by its devs and have fun.
And again its free to play so it doesn’t hurt to try it and form your own opinion instead of listening to the grumblings of irate vets.
@itburns the reason they aren’t investing in this game is because it doesn’t generate enough money.
free to play yes, but that also depends on if you value your time on a game with nothing going on moving forward, Time is a commodity itself… I thought the idea of games such as AoC was/is progression, hard to progress with no content coming out
Couldn’t agree more with your last statement, at the same time the reason they dont generate any money is because they dont invest, Vets alone returning if they actually fixed pvp, returning if they brought out new T7 raid content, it all takes investment , its a pretty clear circle going around here, you have to put out to get a return when making an MMO, when AoC was healthy they took all the cash and sunk it into the Secret world, instead of investing in the potentially great product they had, always chasing the next bone funcom, never focusing on whats in front of them hence the reason these bug fixes have taken 10 years
