Dont be so cold pal, think of these unfortunate FC’ers. It must be seriously depressing, and extremely fustrating to go through all this, everytime they update their game. They have to figure out what went wrong based off of 0 testing and no information. Then they have to write a patch while ignoring the “complainers” plastering the forum with acurate things to say. The stress and pressure they must feel knowing the patch, intended to fix existing problems, only served to make things exponentially worse for a multitude of additional players. I am truly impressed with the fortitude it must require to do this day in, day out…for every update/patch! How much determination does it take to go to work every single day, knowing what is waiting for you? It takes a strong individual to just keep working through all the failures and the effort wasted. Stronger individuals than myself anyway! I know this level of repeated failures and constant questioning of my ability to do my job would make me quit. I just couldnt cope with the shame of it, everyday, not like these Heroes can!
Cool looking cinematic trailer, but its essentially a video, not game play. And i bet if FC got ahold of Marvel rights, they could do just as an amazing job as they did with CE! Oh, what a time we would all have!
Been trying to log into official server for over an hour and get booted within first 30 seconds every time. Whoever did the testing for this update needs to be given a job more suited like boiling water for someone else to make the tea. Paid nearly £100 for a game and dlc I cannot play. If a fix isn’t coming soon I’ll be wanting a refund.
Maybe they should try do their job correctly, if they get nervous EVERY time a patch gets released…well imagine if you would make a misstake EVERY time your boss gives you a task/project/job to do???
so there is a temporary fix to the booting issure. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. if you get booted and cant seem to play. go to solo mode. play as offline and sit there for about 5mins. then exit to main menu and try the server you want again.
This worked for me but I akways get booted now when i return to my base. and thos method can be a bother when your told a purge is going down as five mins of not beig able to help sucks biut better then nothing.
Devs need to get a solution for this doh as i have had friends threaten to demand a refund
Now - after a week waiting - I get the message with corrupted data as soon as the game reached the starting screen…
Fix this for us please!
Even if you have to do a rollback & start from that point again.
In my whole gamers life (meanwhile 30 years of gaming) I never experienced anything similar.
Great job on fixing the issue with getting caught inside the thralls and not being able to move. two thumbs up

I stopped playing warframe which i binged for several years because of this reason. I don’t mind overpowered thralls, that what makes it interesting and seem like objectives are attainable.
Also as previously mentioned by others - the opening cut scene is broken and game crashes regularly with notice of corrupt install data. have reinstalled 3 times all with the same problem. repeating and expecting a different result makes me look insane.
Does your dev team have a list of things to check before publishing an update? It should include everything… I remember the days when you would buy a game and they spent so much money on testing that it was perfect, mind you it was on atari lol but maybe some of the profit could go to testing the game before release to any platform, especially those designated as gaming platforms i.e xbox and PS. because of their cheaper price more kids have access and if they find a developer who can’t patch games without creating more problems to patch then they will loose interest in that developer. Also mentioned in a thread was the need for new content, if the bugs were fixed properly and fully tested there would be more time for writing new content.
I put up with a few bugs in warframe because it was free, but this is a paid for game… if you want something that can be buggy then make it and all DLC’s free.
to be fair to the devs, there would be a couple of million lines of code. Probably best to do lots of testing before game is released and not rush major updates. It would be impossible to fix every bug in one update. Pick the worst issues and those causing the most frustration (these are determined by the number of posts on it) and do those one or two at a time.
Good Morning Funcom, it’s been ten day’s since our delightful customer rewarding experience began. We’ve had a great time but all good things must come to an end… right?
On twitter , it’s good to tell us to post on the funcom forum but if you never answer what’s the point ???
more than 11 days since you released the update on xbox and it is still unplayable, why don’t you have any information on any fix ???
( I only play Conan since one year and you made me play Portal knight simply because of your incompetence, you have already been compared to wild card, ba its the case, and its saddened me, and know that I represent a good number of people by saying its … )
Not sure why anybody would compare funcom to wildcard? Ark at its very worst is 1000 times more stable and reliable than Conan ever has been even at its best of times. Even Conans offline single player is a laggy crash filled mess. In Ark I can build a gigantic base with little performance loss in Conan I can’t build a single foundation with 3 walls and a doorframe without massive lag and eventually getting booted to dashboard.
Scrolling through comments over the 11 days since the update, I don’t see any Dev feedback acknowledging the problems so many of us are having. Maybe there are enough Xbox players that the game still works for, but @Hugo and @Ignasi can’t possibly think we are just complainers or exaggerating the problems?
I’m now on my 10th attempt to play today. It’s taken more time loading in and crashing than game time. I am trying to clean up my main / biggest base which crashes the most, in the hope that less base will make the game more stable.
Problem is the game keeps crashing. Please help. We love the game and do not want to lose everything when funcom returns decay timers to 1 week… it can take days of effort and crashes just to work in one base - all in the hope that I can reduce the crashes myself.
Update. Crashed again. I did manage to remove some horizonal “elevators” that I decided might be a problem… But then it crashed, so I guess it didn’t help?
I think its time to admit they have no intentions to fix this mess, the couple people I was able to convince to try this game uninstalled it last night, im doing the same today and then reimbursing my friends for the money FU-com stole from them. The only interaction I plan on having in regards to this company is spreading the word as much as humanly possible how horrible they truly are. Fortunately I actually love Ark so will be going to check out the new huge map they just released for free to everybody.
Trying to remain positive and light here @Supportmain (is that a support account? I already tried tagging the only support people I’ve seen in these forums, but I don’t spend a lot of time here usually) but after I lost my gear to the “hilarious” bug where you keep walking/running when the game crashes - when the only activity I was trying to do was delete “extra” buildings and placeables in my main large base in the hope that this would reduce the crashes - it gets harder to stay upbeat when no one from the Conan community team will even acknowledge the problems we are having and instead only says they are going to reduce decay timers, is hard.
Please reconsider reducing decay timers until after these “corrupt data” bug and uber-frequent crashes are fixed, and let us know you’ve heard us and are working on a fix. I’d be happy to give you access to my account to see the crashes for yourself. It’s the worst it’s been ever, and I was here for early access.
