Playing away, doing the first level of journey steps, need to make a stone pike, bust up rocks, pick up rocks, bust up rocks, no rocks in my inventory. Run back to my hunt, do quick stack and poof 500+ stones in my inventory :expressionless_face:

Really wouldnā€™t take too much effort to put Conan exiles back in the spotlight.

If the devs want to see how a game like this is supposed to work they need to go play Windrose. One of the few games Iā€™m anticipating the release of.

:roll_eyes: And a city state at the mouth of the river is such a cookie cutter thing if one wasnā€™t there on a public server Iā€™d think it was a broken server.

Tbh , i have no issues with bearer packs, still love them. Neither i have issues harvesting materials has become less grinding, i see it as game improvement.

But i find the new journey steps kinda irritating. I do remember Dennis saying that veteran players that will decide not to get benefits from them in the beginning will automatically unlock them either way.

I havenā€™t seen this promise fulfilled yet and it irritates me .

I know thereā€™s no reason to play this game like i am hounted by something all the time

No reason at all , especially while playing on pve servers

But thatā€™s how i learn it and i refuse to pull the breaks .

Knowing however whatā€™s useless to go for, makes the game even less every time I restart it ā€¦ more pointless.

I donā€™t know, i love it but ā€¦.

We havenā€™t seen a lot of promises fulfilled yet (pet revamp anyone? Hell the promised crafting overhaul in Age of Conan that I am still waiting for???) so this is just, sadly, the Funcom way. Make claims to appease the players but do not actually deliver them.

Yes Iā€™m verifying files; wont help, but I have been here far, far to often for a game that has been out this damn long.

So why to Set did I reinstall this garbage?

Iā€™ve played game demos that were more stable.

For the love of Mike wipe the damned servers.

So a ā€œbad pak fileā€ ā€“ is that from a modded server you are playing on that has a mod that isnā€™t updated? Is that a server issue or your game issue? (like one of them isnā€™t updating like it should?)

If its from a mod causing the issue, verifying wonā€™t help. Maybe remove the modded file and re-download a fresh (updated) copy? Or contact the server admin about updating the mod?
(Iā€™m guessing as to the issue to try to help, but Iā€™m quite limited in my knowledge of pak files)

Nope vanilla public server. But na, uninstalling again. This game is just as broke as it ever was and funcom has done nothing to fix any of the issues that I quit this for in the first place.

Iā€™ve done this rather long demo for a game coming to early release some time this year, a few times.

Not a bug, not a crash, couldnā€™t break the game trying. Small independent developer that has never made a game before. Itā€™s done everything right Conan did wrong. And just left wrong.

Maybe something to do with the old hard drive if thatā€™s what youā€™re still using?

Have to admit that Dune runs far better on my abacus, after getting a 6 gig video card, than I would have thought. Iā€™m not being drawn into the game and have no plans to buy it but it does run well.

Never heard of Windrose. Will have to check it out.
