God bubbles are the hard counter to Gods. Fence stacking used to be the “counter” to bombs, but with that removed, bombs are 100% the way to go

a bubble cannot defend you from more than two gods at the same time, I see that you have never done it because you would not tell me this. As long as it takes to make 100 bombs I make 5 gods. I repeat, it has never been so easy to break a base, and without reinforced walls they fall as if they were made of paper. Be careful, I’m not on the side of the fence staking either. but it has made my job easier.

I’m a solo player, so I’ve never had enough time/favor to hit a god bubble multiple times. Didn’t know that 2 gods pop the bubble, and this is the first I’ve heard of it. Is there some video or post somewhere that can show it happening so that I can see it for myself?

I’m on the fence (no pun intended) about fence stacking. I do feel that, as a whole, it’s a step in the right direction getting rid of it. We’ve been calling for building piece rebalances for a while, and it’s hard to balance individual building pieces against each other when you can cram 4-8 fence foundations in the space of 1 normal foundation. I’m hoping that it’s the first in a series of changes to make the game better. Optimistic, I know, but I still have hope :slight_smile:

As far as I know 2 gods can’t even be summoned at the same time on a server. (edit: finally found it, it’s in the 2.0 patch notes)

And unless you summon so many gods after each other the bubble timer runs out, it will have no effect on the bubble… He’s just talking BS.

Also he might be able to farm 5 gods in the same time you can farm 100 bombs, but it only takes 15 bombs to stop them.

This is probably very true from FCs perspective like removing the animation cancelling. Gotta remove the unintended (and make sure its not able to be back door used again because something was missed) and then do a “balancing” act.

Sorry to irritate you with posting ideas you dislike. Hurting your feelings must be my ultimate goal and not of course suggesting mechanics for a game in that game’s forum. Seriously.

this is the problem, you cannot expect the strength of one player to be balanced against several who play in a clan, this is a team game, the union is strength, that’s why people make reinforced constructions to try to make the base the hardest, not for one who plays like you alone, who makes his life planting bombs to enter. obviously that is more complicated and difficult is one against the world and now more than they have broken the stealth. Seek to join a clan and you will see the difference and destructive power. just think that one places bombs, two others throw two gods and you have two more throwing arrows of gas and explosives. what basis do you give to that? And going back to the layers of fences, today they are layers of fences, tomorrow they will be layers of coments, cameras, stakes. I repeat, everyone will look for a way to make their base as hard as possible with what they can or is possible. It’s like covering the sun with a finger. now the new strategy is not to make a reinforced base, it is to leave everything in your body hidden on the map. you make gods and bombs and break what you see, then hide or go to another server.

I am the negative? What do I defend stop prohibiting and limiting things? curious.

I defend that everyone plays as they want and let play. it’s one thing to be dirty and block dungeons, obelisks or hide in them or in a mesh, but to dominate a map with structures no matter how many, one can do something, fight, destroy and if you can’t change servers why a clan is stronger than you and dominates the server. do not misunderstand me.

I wasn’t always a solo player. I was part of an alpha clan that was 16 strong (10 plus 6 more that we couldn’t fit in the main clan) a while back that dissolved because of a 2 week ban caused by server hoppers by report spamming and abuse of the admins that got us wiped . Most of us just left to go play other games. Others are on other servers nowadays. I’m the last one who decided to stick around after taking a couple months off. I’ve never really participated in the “God Raid” part. I preferred to hang about at range, firing poison/explosive arrows and scouting for players while the rest of my clan dropped gods/bombs on bases.

I agree that a full clan has, and should have, more destructive power than a solo player. It just makes sense. That said, I feel that my original points may have been misunderstood.

1-Bombs are boring. At least Gods are cool to watch and look at. Bomb spamming is static and boring both to use and defend against. I’d like to see some new raiding equipment to add some viariety to raiding

2-I’ve never heard of God bubbles getting popped by throwing 2 gods at them. Even with my huge clan, it was never done. If they had a god bubble, we assaulted by other means.

3-I’m both for and against the removal of fence stacking. On the one hand, it was the only real viable method of PVP base building because when you’re getting raided, having your base wiped is inevitable if that’s what the attackers want and have supplies for. The stacks are there to buy you the time needed to either mount a defense or pack up your valuables and flee. This is doubly true for soloists.

4-I’m hoping that the removal of fence stacking is the first in a series of rebalances that will seek to improve the building system to allow for better raids. not easier, not harder, just better and more fun.

Better mechanics maybe. Some offline protection. Locust preventers? Bombs balanced with the rest of the game.

I would like my slave to be able to chop stone if I give him a pick or wood if I put an ax on him, depending on how you put the tool you can put him to work. another would be passive fishing, now nobody uses fish, it takes a long time to get oil from the fish, it’s torture. x2 pickup that’s for 1X

I would like to assign my thralls to do tasks though this could and should imo be offset with them being able to be killed while out gathering.

Of course, he would be unarmed, you would have to remove the tool and put a weapon to enter combat

maybe make them have to change tools to a weapon, though I would prefer crafting thralls not have weapons and instead run home when targeted or hit.
