That’s not how it will be, at least not if they stick with what was told to us at one point O.o the sorcery system is meant to be ritualistic, not your typical “I might as well be a demigod” fireball-chugger

stop talking about sorcery mate ! We cannot even play the game as it is with all that technical problems . I tremble when i imagine all that sorcery animation on raid mix with thrals, pets gas bombs, players, trebuchet ,explosive. Get real guys
Upgrade the highest tier weapon/armor you can use with a mod. Then use the next material when you get it. It’s not huge but it can make a lower maintenance or heavier hitting weapon pretty easily. It’s definitely better than nothing.
I’m not a huge fan of the healing nerf but I guess I can see how it makes the combat more challenging. Before you could just pop healing items and maneuver around enemies until you were back to full health. You can still do that, but its harder.
Swords are still strong, and good against most things. They’re second to axes against unarmored opponents.

You say the pet system is junk and you still want a completely new system instead of perfecting what we already have? Why is adopting some features from ARC a bad thing? I like this dev team and this game, I take breaks when I get tired of it, and there’s usually some new or improved aspect to it when I get back. Good things take time.
True. Any EA is basically paid beta, which imo is a bad thing.
Then again, there are some players out there, who are really talented in finding weak spots and stuff. Unfortunately, they dont seem to share their finds with funcom?

I already wrote how I would like stats and stuff being moved to kits since having stats on a armor seems like a good thing to me but limiting players to certain sets isnt. People usually arent wearing what they want to wear, they wear what they are forced to wear.
Other than that, those kits and modifications are meant to be used on any of your gear and weaponry. Not only lower ones. Also everything got an epic version, often flawless too. An endgame player is supposed to use these.
It was a good thing to nerf healing.
People are supposed to eighter block stuff with a shield OR dodge properly. Also as for pvp, healing was waaaay too OP a while ago.
Huh? Where did they nerf swords? One handed? Two handed?
Anyway. I love the one handed with a throwing axe. It rocks.
World bosses are fine right now. I did rhino king, black rhino, this weird red insect queen thingy and maybe 1-2 else. If all of them are the same, bosses are actually fine right now.
However I dont see any reason to grind them, I dont see much value in a random legendary weapon.
(However, if we could trade - lets say 5? or 10? - skeleton keys for a certain weapon, that would be great.)
Thralls and pets are good to require food.
When I started playing the game back in february 2017, first thing I heard about was the city life idea and set up a ghost town to give my thralls a place to sleep.
Them requiring food does add to the survival aspect.
However it would be awesome if we could set them up to breed new animals. … and possibly being enabled to butcher those newborn at some table for quality meat?
I haven’t been playing Conan Exiles from the very beginning, but decided to buy it in spring 2017 when the game seemed a bit more stable.
And stability is the key in every game, more content without stability won’t make a game more interesting, ask anyone who have experienced the early state bugs from which the game still suffers from what’s most important.
I may be wrong but to me it sounds like you’re more into rpg than actual survival games…
No the weapon and armor have improved in some ways, at least in my opinion.
Yes they nerfed a few things, some of them were too good and needed balancing.
World bosses are doable in solo fights, but yes they are a boss, so they should be hard.
A lot of people were happy to finally get pets although they at the moment are no more than a thrall, so junk… No not in my opinion, but an improved AI and more uses and interactions for them would be great along with thralls.
Yes thralls and pets need food, if you have ever played on a server where you could see hundreds if not thousands of thralls hovering/standing where a base had decayed then you would know why the feeding system is good, besides it is a survival game where food is a part of the gameplay.
I won’t go into the ARK/Conan Exiles comparison because I find them to be different in many ways.
I’m not sure if this guy even read the original Conan. How many sorcerers were in the original? Usually one is the main enemy. At the same time, he was accompanied by hundreds of ordinary minions. If Funcom add sorcerers here - it will not be Conan, but the Korean farm like BDO. Maybe this guy will go there immediately and will not distract developers from the really necessary things?
If we’re giving out our real classes. I’m a Necromancer/Overlord/Master of All magic/Dark Knight. My race is Lich. I was born undead. I study every spell,skill,forbidden spells, magic,swords,animals and etc.
I want magic so badly. It burns inside. Necromancer and Lichdom got me to buy this game.
