20 Hardened Steel Bars to make a little decor item? I figured at that cost, it’d be a storage box with more slots than the large chest. That seems a bit expensive to craft for a little smoking box that has no use. Am I missing something?

Yeah I’ve started to notice that some of the items in the battle pass are not worth it bearing in mind you’re spending real money on the battle pass I would expect the items to be better and not buggy/bad
Wouldn’t really be a mystery if you could open it though. In the Chapter 2 trailer, it is shown on the decorative items frame.
Purchasable cosmetics should be just that… cosmetics you buy.
Everything functional is part of the base game. Congrats you have everything that’s functional already.
I think that is the point he is making. Seems a bit much IMO also.
Is 20 hardened steel bars really a lot though? In PvP, yes, but who decorates in PvP? A bit pointless really.
It is a bit odd that it’s 20 hardened steel for this item, but a whole 1 stone for the Tablet Display from the bazaar. 
Ummm I do. What’s the point of building a base if you aren’t going to enjoy it?

My clanmate was pretty disappointed to find out this box did nothing though. They were hoping it was an alternative skin to the tired regular chest lol

I have done myself, but then it all seemed pointless. I may have played on too may toxic servers.
And still no display to place our armors, spiral staircase or simple different chests.
Cosmetics can be skins for functional items from vanilla. I’ll be glad to have some chest with the same storage capacity and HP but looking quite different. In fact I was sure this thing is another reskin for vanilla chest. But this thingie without inventory slot doesn’t cost materials to craft it.

It would be very accurate. That’s what ancient (and many not-so-ancient) rulers did was show off their wealth.
I think it would be awesome to store pouches there. It’s a little disappointing. Maybe Funcom upgrades it like they did with the cabinet.
Oh yeah, that’d be a great place to store pouches and soul essences and the like.
Yeah, I use the eldarium chests for my ??? essences. It just fits feel nicer.
Haha, one of my playmates was hoping the box is actually going to do something special, besides weird humming voice. 
I would like to remind in global, that BP items are decorative stuff overall, no one can expect this to give us some special skills or advantages. This was stated before, when 3.0 was released. It would be nice, if this item gave us new storage, but I am afraid that for anything besides decorative we would have to pay and it would be available only in Bazaar.
BP things are just pretty options for us to decorate, if we wish so.
I store anything related to sorcery in that ornate sorcery cupborad (can’t recall it’s name).
