Unfortunately this game is in desperate need of a server wipe at least once a year. Keep the cheaters, hoarders and body vaults at bay.

Takes only a few days to get an adequate set of body vaults going. Wipe would only give you max 72 hours of relief.
All it would do is tick off those players who like to collect legacy items and followers.

Bam, serial refreshers, hackers, BVs, year+ clans holding meta spots mitigated.

If this is implemented, it would have to be a new servers that explicitly state the policy. Otherwise, no.

that would be interesting to see if players would move to these servers or not.
I think new players or players that were wiped would.
If there isn’t periodic wipes, I believe they should put a time minimum/week on the decay timer. Like if you aren’t on for an hour or longer/week, the decay timer doesn’t reset. This means that you actually have to play or at least sit there vs spending 3-6 minutes just refreshing your builds because that is BS. Officials are public sandboxes for PLAYING the game. Not for vets to just protect their landclaims.

they should add new server types, officials ofc
with wipes (i dont know, each 3 months, or 12)
with dynamic raids (you can raid 24\7 but only bases online (+X hours window after log out)
and see how things are going there in terms of stability, player base response etc.

Dont have to add anything. Merger is precedent they can do what yheybwant. so Change all official PvP to dbd, 24/7 raid, 30 min cooldown, if your body dissapears, anything on a bv decays when log in, 5 day decay timer. Then wipenthem, except for olayer levels and knowledge. Pvp should be about playing. PvE can stay as is.

wipe servers why because i dont have meta spot delete bodyvaults why im so suck at the game to make bodyvault because i get wiped at day 1 total fn losers especially this kiki girl is one of the biggest loser of the community because she told people crevice should be bannable because pig spawns inside what a toxic waste of space because of you toxic people there is ban meta going on for cheaters dont worry we wipe their meshes we found their sky bases keep toxic ideas to yourself
I didn’t say the pigs spawn inside the crevice. I said not to despawn them. As most crevice builds do go outwards and there is a unique baby spawn there. Nor did I say that Crevice is bannable. I’ve provided my opinions on it.
If you’re going to attempt to discredit my comments, at least quote them properly.
They would need a 3 day wipe cycle to get rid of the issues you all think wipes would solve.
Cycles were tried in the past and the servers were dead within months. Pretty much dead on arrival. Its a different game when you know everything you’re working on is going to be wiped out on a given date.

We’re both PVPers.
Instead of puffing your chest and insulting us, spend some time in the forums and read what we have had to say on PVP as a whole.
Including our opinions about mass reporting, ban meta, cheats and exploits.

sorry i would never take someone seriously who ‘‘seriously’’ said you should destroy someones hardwork just because there is pig spawns inside of that location i get banned with 3k for my crevice base because you people convinced these weird ban meta hammer holders to wipe locations that make no sense to wipe i wasnt toxic i didnt made laggy base i got ban with 3k building pieces in crevice because enemy clan couldnt take humiliaton and reported us and since you guys convinced these funcom people i got ban unjustly
Let me clarify: I do not report people for land claim violations except for once that probably deserved it and I actively discourage it here and in game. I never said it should be reported. I said that it is more than likely reported and actioned on for the reasons I listed AND was having a discussion on trying to understand why. If you actually read my comments fully you’d know that.
We did not convince them. The system allows it. The processes allow it. It’s a faulty, poorly managed and easily exploited system.
Throw that hate in the right direction = Funcom.
And there are no damn pig spawns inside Crevice, they are OUTSIDE.

I would hazard that the majority are unjust.
My reasoning is that we should be given the opportunity of a warning and mass reporting is a real exploitation of the system.
yes mass reporting serious issue but also funcom’s reasoning for bans serious issue you cant say crevice is explorable area and put that point of interest 8k point to inside of the cave after you made that place buildable put that 8k xp to outside of the cave its seriously trap method to ban players and people like you defend it its point of interest it gives 8k xp

I agree with you. The POI is actually discoverable in the east bowl entrance and you don’t actually need to go inside to benefit from discovering it.
Which was one of the points I made in the many discussions I’ve had about it.
