Dosagreeing is ine thing. Calling people childish is usually the start of derailing a thread, as has happened now.
I honestly don’t see the difference between directly calling someone childish and certain passive aggressive wording select people use around here. I can actually respect it when someone comes in hard and just says what they mean. I can understand it even more when people start a thread with the equivalent of “if you disagree with me, don’t post” because that is childish behavior. Lots of guilt to go around on communication etiquette and its not one side’s fault only. It is even worse imo when people come into a forum provided by FC to get feedback (passive feedback but it is feedback) and they trash all over FC in their own house. If someone came into my zone and starting bashing me, I’d have a lot harsher words than “childish” to hurl at them, but FC is above it.
