Glitching thralls thru walls into enemy bases is OP.
But you sir have crossed the line.
Add archers - SIMPLE FIX
Build in a better spot where they can’t just land and plant bombs.
Use walls that DONT allow bombs to be placed.
Build better defensively. Anticipate what a sorcerer would do.
I believe the issue imight be is you aren’t used to playing with many sorcerers coming after you.
But Thats not the half of it.
There is a particular sorcerer class that allows the use of magic along with the use of all thier skills as well.
bats are a means of escaping or climbing
They do not attack and if you fly to high and jump off you may die
Depending on what skills you have available

as you can see the bat has been there since the beginning.
i think there are a lot of players that want an unraidable base but they don’t want to spend the time learning all the little tricks to make their base extremely hard to raid. as far as i know the ur5 update fixed a lot of the issues with building pieces not taking full damage when they were placed partly into structures so bases built in certain structures should be a lot easier to raid now. there’s only two builders in the entire game that if i know they built the base i would walk away and not even attempt to raid it. too costly
The thing is, yes you can learn to create bases that are harder to raid, so as defender you need a really big time investement in learning and try and error a lot. On the other hand as attacker you don’t need that big time investment. either you go the way of outnumber your enemy or you just wait for offline raiding since this 5 hour building damage timer is way to long anyway. Funcom can’t expect everyone who likes pvp to guard their base 5 hours every day since even a very good legit base can be raided in 2 hours. There needs to be a overhaul for the PvP community, so the number of people who play pvp would be increased and not just the RP community.
How about introducing rocket scout ornithopters, to Conan?
You’ll be able to actively hunt & shoot down the bats.
…though you might find yourself dying to the 6k RPM guns, or that Bene Gesserit shenanigans are more powerful than whatever the Cthulhu mythology can throw at you.
I can destroy any base in 20 minutes max. Go into solo mode, build me any base you want, invite me, and I’ll show you that you’re wrong.
Attackers always win. They have better tools. Defense sucks these days.
Yeah, we need a bat rework, and we need god bubbles to stop flying bats, lightning storms, and trebuchet damage. Only gods should be able to break the bubble or it should take at least 4 gods to destroy it. Even if I’m offline, I’d rather let 4 gods wipe my base than deal with this cheap spam meta.
Then we’d be back to balanced sides: good defense and good raids, even offline.
Right now, 1 gods can wipe a base way too easily. It makes no sense brain-dead flying bat spam, bombs, and lightning storms. Crafting bombs is way too cheap, and those ramps are even cheaper
That would be too easy. Also, seems like the Dune population has dropped quite a lot since launch, and our PvP-ers are crying that they lack targets to kill.
Now imagine some cross-over, where both Conan’s & Dune’s PvP-ers could meet and do…stuff together.
Maybe make the Conan’s folk just be able to use melee & bows, but be comically (fantasy-like) OP.
You know - “I shoot 300 bullets into him, and that [censored] still rushed me and decapitated/gored me in half with one swing of that 2H sword!”.
…at the same time, you’d either need to snipe the ornithopter pilots with the bow - or learn to para-drop from the bat on top of it (and…dunno, do a “Orni-fatality”, by digging the sword/hitting the mace into the wing mechanism, or something).
Basically, a totally unhinged, unfiltered PvP carnage (I’m not a PvP-er, but I’d assume it’s what you guys live for, right?
Except the type that only shoots easy targets, i.e. farmers - and runs as soon as they get shot at…)
I would state that raids have never been full balanced in that defense historically and in the lore this game is based defense was always an uphill battle. Defenders advantage was the norm this game has always been the opposite of that .
Haha yeah no thats not what pvp’rs want. My entire post specifically said that was the exact opposite of what i wanted and thats why i argue bats should be nerfed.
Before followers, thralls actually could make raids in large bases very lengthy, even offline. When followers were introduced, they had to tweak them to make sure the pve content wasnt face palm easy, and dueling pvp wasn’t pokemon thrall fights. I think they should split followers and defense thralls up. 20% of the current max would be followers. Your “friends” or war party or whatever. The Guard thralls could have 2x dmg and 5x health. And they spawn in max 20. Then the reroll potion has a more involved loop as well fpr thier perks.
Still not sure if the AI would make them decent defenders even then, the AI is really bad and predictable and the pathing sometimes even worse. Not saying it is a bad idea on paper just the not sure the troops are up to the task.
The AI was better back then. Because it was 1 AI. Attack anything in 20 founds of yhe thrall lol. No passive/aggressive/ chase math lol. Just you not in clan, all attack Butvyeah the AI with the lag is horrible.
