BattleEye repeatedly kicks me out on query timeout

Yeah, I was doing that today, but thought I’d try to level up some new thralls. Guess it’s all on hold until Funcom gets this sorted out.

Luckily, after several disconnects, the game finally ran stable for a few hours. But the riskiest thing I did was farm sulfur in the desert. :sunglasses:

If you get the BattlEye kick, dump the client and try again. Make sure that ConanSandbox.exe closes completely.

Then, in a new attempt of launching the client, try again. I believe that the ConanSandbox.exe to BattlEye query calls happen when the game is launched. If the exe picks a bad IP address, you’ll be damned until you kill the client, and try again from scratch.

It seems that once you get in where BattlEye isn’t dumping you (the API call makes a successful BattlEye IP address selection), you should be good for a time.

That is, at least, my observations so far.

Does this explain why you can login and then randomly play from five to thirty minutes before your first kick?

Thank you for the thorough reports on this situation, we’ve reported it from our end and are working on a fix.

In the meantime, are you still being kicked by battleye or has it stopped being consistent?

What kind of company philosophy is that!? There is zero communication to the outside world, neither with the community nor with anyone else.

We address problems here and then threads are closed without any explanation or information that the problems have been acknowledged or resolved…

same here i am repetedly getting kicked every few min more that 20+ times this morning, verify game files didnt help, reinstaling battleeye didnt help, … its unplayable past few days. Playing on official pvp siptah map.

Please update me if you get a response similar to:

“We see you are on a private server. Please join the private server admin discord so other admins can help you with your configuration.”

When their bug on login manifested itself “login, die 113 times, all gear despawns, finally render in, naked” that was the resolution of my ticket because there was no way it could be related to the code update which brought us turtles crashing servers.

there’s no fun in "fun"com and those greedy so called “developers” don’t care about anything anymore…screw it i’m done with this stupid game and the money grabbing company behind it

Well I have just been kicked due to the time out query so whilst this has helped me it is not a real solution to the issue at hand.

Lovely to see how Battle Eye keeps the good players away but always fails when it comes to cheaters. It was, it is and will always be uselss.

Yes, kicked it’s now. The problem is already 3 days old, where have you been? Thousands of players can’t play normally, and you just showed up now.

This has been happening for a few days for me too. Nothing seems to solve it. I do hope we get a fix soon! Official 1502

But they told us it was resolved DAYS ago.

Maybe we are just logging in wrong because “playing the game wrong” been the suggestion for a lot of these other issues.

Can everyone just try to log in correctly and accept this is all our fault?
