When will the bomb range change be back to the way how it was?
The bomb range was fine.
People did not like the bomb pvp because of the range and damage to players but it did a lot of damage to both the user and enemy.
A simple fix to this was to nerf the damage to players.
But now you can’t place a bomb the furthest distance with this new change and can barely take another bomb with full bulked plating armor
Base raiding
With the new bomb range change it has made raiding bases like jungle temples and aqueduct harder
Didn’t they change the god bubbles to make it so people have to defend? With this change it makes it harder to raid.

Good luck storing those thousands you need when it comes to raiding …
Yes unfortunately you have to be online if you don’t want to be raided but that’s standard at least there is only a 5 hour raid window unlike other survival games.
As for the no pvp I beg to differ … I’m sick of it
Think he means he can’t sit at the top of a temple and bomb the bottom floor without putting himself in harms way anymore… but yeh it’s still a big distance
It’s progress.
One tiny sliver of progress against the telekinetic ied meta that is all that matters in this game now.
Bombs can still be remotely placed, just not at absurd ranges. Light the fuse and move away, you will be fine, unless you are placing them in an enclosed space. In which case… Place them above the area and nudge them off the edge from above.
But it doesn’t matter, the wheel will be reinvented again with no rhyme or reason, give it time. Perhaps we will be able to load animal carcasses into the treb in a future update. Or the ballista may get it’s version of explosives arrows. Or they may make structures unrepairable for a window after being damaged.
Who knows?
This one sheds not a single tear for any inconvenience to the ied meta. For a game that prides itself on adherence to “lore”, it completely ignores that for it’s PvP. Which exposes the lore lie, a convenient excuse whenever they want to say no without a real reason.
Ramble aside, and even if this one didn’t have antipathy for the ied meta, welcome to the suck rotation. Anyone who enjoyed using Avatars has been familiar with it for years. Anyone who previously maintained a shrine for protection knows it keenly.
Just be glad the powers that be haven’t decided to disable explosive jars entirely.
But for how long?
Who knows what cluckery is around the corner next?
We see a snapshot of a game warping so fast that if it were a human body we would marvel that the cancer hadn’t already killed the patient.
I’d say I’m surprised no more people commented on this thread let alone this comment… I guess there’s just not enough official pvp players left that can be bothered to contribute to these forums anymore
Let me know when you manage to raid online a 10,20 plus man clan in a t3 base, crafting bombs as you go
Keep bombs like they are. But since burn damage was reduced some, maybe have it so that anything in the burn cannot be repaired, and once below 50% HP cannot be repaired at all (or replaced) .
This would make it so defenders had to stop the bomber stacking fire to repair before it got HP too low, instead of sit behind the walls and steadily repair 3 foundations thick as is now.
Then turn on 24/7 DbD, 15 minute cooldown for log off clan. The 15 minutes would, at minimum, allowndamage beyond 50%.
I think you need to go a bit further. Repairs shouldn’t be allowed for a x amount of time after the last tick of damage for the entire claim (everything sharing the decay timer). And that time is set by a server setting.
In the early days of the game in 2018, I played quite a bit of Vanilla-like PVP settings. The only difference between a FC server and the ones I played on was they didn’t allow offline raiding. Thus all raids were online.
One of my biggest pet peeves was when defenders were able to repair during the raid. With an inventory full of materials, defenders could instantly repair any damage that didn’t destroy a wall outright. In a 24/7 DBD environment, that would be a big problem.
You and I have discussed this before, so this isn’t anything new. But I don’t think this issue should be compromised on via a new mechanic. Just nip online repair alongside offline raiding and you have a much better experience than vanilla.
