Breaking star metal is kinda hard

I tried to break a star metal shall with exposion jars…
I have spend 4 jars(one by one) and this didnt brear(
But when I placed 2 jars - it have worked.
So I assume the shall do not have “HP”. But check how much damage have been inflicted. And I think this is kinda bad)

I always use explosive arrows. Only need 1 arrow. If it doesn’t work I assume its bugged and work on the next one I come across.

Also I found positioning jars in the right spot a little fiddly, so I ALWAYS use arrows now.

Some of them re on ground “odd” so jars and even sometimes explo-arrows wont hit them right.

It should take 1 explo jar or arrow to break them. Even then, you may not get good angle on it, try different spot and give it another go. (or find another meteor)

I usually place jars, back up and snipe with a arrow. As clicking them tends send them rolling. XD

As already mentioned there are several ways to crack a meteorite.

  • Cheapest: Use a single Explosive Arrow.
    (Oil Arrow may makes it easier to ensure the meteor is damaged.)
  • Most common back in the days: A single Demon-fire Orb.
    (Sometimes in combination with a Grease Orb and Gaseous Orb to make it easier to ensure the meteor is damaged.)
  • The expensive/cumbersome way: A single Explosive Jar.
    (mostly foundations are needed to prevent the jar from rolling away)

But whichever method you choose, if the meteorite doesn’t burst open at the first try, just go ahead, because the risk that this one is bugged is very high and you only waste your explosives.

i hope these unbreakable ones get fixed, i find them all the time, grrrrr.
