@Croms_Faithful
here is a snap shot. You posted a response from Ignasis yourself
Yes, but the problem is that his reply only clears up but a fraction of the uncertainty. That being dungeons and beyond the cursed wall. Everything else is purely speculation. For example, no longer being able to put bedrolls in Sepermeru, no longer able to build in the Unnamed City, no more building next to Obelisks, being able to build near some NPC landmarks but not others, people losing the ability to command thralls, the mixed messages being given when I try to build in my base. Furthermore, as I stated previouly my bases are NOT in any of the areas which he listed. Of course at this point I am now repeating myself.
Ignasis said that they were going to check if there was a blocker there; and that was over two months ago. And regardless of the status of mine and other peoples bases from his findings, it feeds back into one of two potential outcomes. The first scenario being that this was not intended to be happening at our building locations, in which case it needs to be corrected. The second scenario is
If we could get a very basic map which clarifies intended build ok vs building exclusion zones, it would clear this up in a snap.
That way we would know if the seemingly random āBuilding is not Allowed Hereā is a feature or a bug.
Yeah I am with you LostBrythunian. Players could already freely discover them all given sufficient willingness and time investment, so there is not point in trying to conceal the locations. Not that I am insinuating that that is what they are doing here. There is a common denominator in all of the members reports here. We are all looking for communication. Such a map would be a means that we are better able to make strategic and well informed decisions on the locations on where to build, especially when we shift our focus towards a T3 base with a view to make it our permanent one.
Aaaand Bump.
I have no intention of letting this go until the 10+ members here get some answers.
100% agree. It would have helped our friend here with planning before building:
Have a similar issue on PC.
Not sure if it has the same cause, but at least the sudden loss of ownership looks similar. Would be nice to get a fix for this.
What I really like more than that is ps5 players to let us know if they have similar problems on single player . I sense that Sony is sabotaging PS4 since ps5 is on market , yet they cannot provide enough consoles for all of us . I can understand how this crisis affected production , but we have vaccination for months now . Anyway I donāt want to risk of topic here , again if ps5 players could give us a review about these issues ?
Thanks in advance
I can only say one thing about this: If certain foundations are disregarded as unstable substances, it is impossible to place anything on them.
I noticed that during a construction project on Siptah.
āHope my contribution is not useless.ā
Bump.
Iām having to carry around a sandstone foundation just to aim it at the ground. If it is green, itās good to go. If it is white, canāt build there. It almost works to scout the boundaries. When I place the green foundation sometimes it comes back with this error message. Arghhh!
I understand that this crept up on you through the patches.
You can do the same with a bedroll or a firecamp.
Bump.
Oh and did I mention that my partner is now having the same issue regarding ownership on Conan Exiles on her ps4ā¦? So yes on a separate console. And that hers is on the Isle of Siptah as opposed to the Exiled Lands?
Images coming
I am going to go out on a limb here and assume that ps5 players are getting this too, but would still welcome any confirmation or refutes.
You are a bit off topic here good buddy. But lets indulge this for a moment for a friend. You know both Sony and Microsoft must love lower sales, because I feel that neither of them had produced anywhere near enough units to launch a console. If there is any doubt about this, just look at the degree to which the demand has outstripped supply. Moreover, look at how long it has now been since launch, and they still havent caught up with demand! We have a somewhat crude saying to describe situations such as these in my country; its pretty piss weak.
GodsOfExiles I would never see your contributions as useless!
True. And I cannot speak for all of the members who have posted in my thread here. But on my game at least, decay is switched off. And inspection with the Repair Hammer has not revealled any stability issues.
Bump. Again, I am not letting this issue go. There are 11+ good members who are having issues with this, and I will not stop fighting for them. We deserve an answer.
like I say waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up top.
I really just want SP to lose alot of BS issues from Online.
Most of no build zones destroyed my fave spots in SP over yearsā¦ and most of them donāt even make sense. You can build 10m away on one side of Speimurururuuru, but on other its goes 100m beyond townā¦ makes no sense.
Me too Sera. This should never have even been added into Singleplayer mode.
Yep, I agree with you. It has cost us so much fun and creativity. I am still very disenchanted by this change, and it has left me extremely burned out as far as the game goes.
@Sera67 what were some of your favourite spots which were impacted?
Few caves I miss, thouā¦ Xalthars refuge was a fave, but got updated with stuff, so Donāt mind that to much.
Most of Oasis, and Mitra peeps, I LOVE building around the lakes and on scaffolding.
The Dam, has abunch of no builds under water, which prevents laying foundations to add stability.
Iād have dig up screen caps of some of older ones, But losing Oasis Hurt the most.
You mean Oasis of Nekhet north of Sepermeru ? Itās my favourite place to build in the Exiled lands. Close to Sepermeru and the Unnamed city, an easy way to the North and lots of resources all around.
