They did mention that the updates leading to 3.0 would be poor in pure content additions.

Porting from this modded UE4 to UE5 is more difficult to do, than just making a brand new game in said engine.
I’ll stop you right there. Conan Exiles is not going to update its engine to UE5. They would sooner make a sequel then do that.
There’s a reason Ark 1 isn’t “just updating to UE5”, and making their own sequel.
For the hundredth time, they haven’t “abandoned” Conan Exiles. But since you are SO sure that “game is dead”, feel free to leave. Or stay, keep beating that Troll drum. And when 3.0 is released, you are then welcome to make a large post apologizing for the months of false posts you continue to do.

The only explanation I can give for this wonderful game is one.
Gamers, 95% are finally persons who love to play empty easy games, or games that’s always in their pockets. Conan is none of both. I wish one day, people out there will regognise the stunning job these people have done and still doing. I wish it won’t have the same fate of the famous writer that died so young. It is a game that created unique foundations for the next generation games to come. Unfortunately too many titles in the past, wonderful games, didn’t have the publicity they deserved. Even if the game engines are changing and this game might not be able to follow, I think that it doesn’t need to. As a player I feel lucky that I play a game like that, it is the only game ever that after so many years I want to keep playing it and this only is enough for me to thank for once again every single person that worked for this game.
Conan is ALIVE AND KICKING A… S, no other survival game is like it, none.

Can you please link the post where any of Funcom devs saying that they are working on 3.0? Because all i saw is this topic and guessing by the piece of paper with some words. No trolling, i just want to know.

man, dont lie.CE is alive ofc, but not that popular like ark or rust or many other survivals. Even Poject zomboid has more online then CE. And thats sad

Ok i got you. Just need to know, that they many times called things MASSIVE and BIG like for example grave matters event, but when you see that in game its not that big as they described it.
I hope that 3.0 will be really something great, will wait for it.
When was the Grave Matters event called big or massive?
I mean the full patch 2.7. It presented like they done some big things, like no more rain indoors and etc.
You aren’t recognizing the things that these changes can enable in the future. The event system is a good example. Try thinking of ways FC can expand on it and you might have an inkling of what’s going to be possible. Yeah great mods like pve ambush have done something similar, but now the hooks are part of the game to be expanded upon. I guarantee this is just a first step.

Bleh. NFT, blockchain and cryptocurrency are a blight on sustainability. Greedy energy waste in a nutshell.
These are numbers that doesn’t bother me. I am just a player and I set my own point of view. I don’t lie, I just say what I feel about this game and it has 0 lies on it. I am pretty sure that you feel the same way too. If you have ways to help the numbers change, do it. I can’t help more than support this game in every chance I have. Too many players bought the game because I told them and demonstrated to them the games possibilities. Some of them find it hard, some others said that this game took their sleep and their mind. Every opinion is individual, I can only light the way, I cannot do more.

I already helped cause i love the game too. I mean reporting bugs and making game look better
I want CE to be more popular, there are more ways to improve it graphically by the way, but for this i need devs to look at it, i already reported that issue to.

Ps, we all want this game to be too my dear friend, let’s hope the gaming community one day to understand what they loose, but even if they do not, I will still be lucky that I had this gaming experience, they loose not us 
To be fair, they haven’t shown anything of Ark 2 outside CG movie… It could literately be same game on UE5. With some tweaks.
Inless they some how update game systems from 1990’s to 2020… So something like Raptor isn’t

My expectations for Ark 2, are set somewhere in mud… next to some cat litter. I want Ark 2, Cause I “Hope” they will actually update game, But I also fear it’ll make a few small leaps, and still be behind other games. =/
My expectations for CE 3.0 are… 2 outta a 10? ish… I’m waiting for patch to fix a patch, that wasn’t fixed in 2.7…
You look at charts of players who come back to CE… I really hope 3.0 drops with out a hitch for once.
I’ve tried several times to get friends to play, but broken updates keep driving them off. I’d love to show off a working game.
No major patch in any game ever goes off without a hitch. If you think it has ever happened, either the hitches were heavily suppressed or you weren’t paying attention.
Anyone who has worked with game development, or probably any coding whatsoever, knows that you can check your update twenty times over with perfect execution every time, and it will still be crammed full of bugs on release.
