"Connection lost" continues to be a significant issue

Think we can get about a class action lawsuit for this? Tbh I’m already at the end of my straw. Sue them for breaking the game and refusing to fix it. I know there are some strict consumer laws in Europe.
Like, we have been on this for a whole month and they have been ignoring us, it’s the worst.

This company would have perished years ago if it were possible to hold them liable for any of the nonsense they do.

This is not the first time they have made the game unplayable for a portion of their customers. Sadly it seems we are an irrelevantly small portion, I guess most people just build stuff and don’t bother with combat.

Really want to thank Funcom on their “tremendous” job of communicating with us what they’re doing to tackle this issue with such devotion, and to keep us continuously up to date through their excellent community managers. Because of their valiant efforts, I feel like all the money I plunked down for the game, all the DLC’s and bazar items were well invested as I can no longer play the game I paid for, nor does it offers what’s advertized.

Tried to do the pools on siptah the other day with @Marylambs and after a few disconnects, I figured it was better to just quit before we lost anything. We were gonna do a surge afterwards, but didn’t feel very confident in trying it… especially with the possibility of someone coming in and stealing stuff from it while we’re disconnecting.

I have confirmed this does not fix it.

Does anyone that plays this game on Epic or Microsoft Store and not steam have the same issue?

If you’ll see the other posts, people who own the game on OTHER PLATFORMS are having this issue as well. It’s not isolated to just PC.

Not really what I asked. Playing on other platforms has always been shit. Asking about different versions of PC only.

That’s not my point. They did something that’s causing lost connections right now on all platforms. It’s got nothing to do with the platform.

It is a Funcom Live Services issues, similar to the Great Login Crisis which was totally not Funcom’s fault but, rather the responsibility of THOSE PEOPLE and which was mysteriously cleared up after Funcom offices reopened after the weekend, but that’s just a coincidence.

But, folks still blame G-Portal, all evidence to the contrary, because, reasons.

Right, because I’m looking at EVERY post reported on this forum BEYOND just the platform I play on and I’M the troll? Man, get over yourself. The game is crashing on everything as of the last few updates and it’s documented on all platforms. It happens with three skull bosses often, but also can occur with any mobs more than maybe 4. Also, it can happen just about anywhere for any reason. I got disconnected the other day the moment two grey ones ran at me on siptah. So, maybe get off your high horse and do a bit of research before saying things that you don’t fully understand.

Look … we are all frustrated about this SERVER DISCONNECT issue. Let’s focus on the problem not on each other. Asking if this issue exists on other platforms is a legitimate step in troubleshooting. I only have this issue on OFFICIAL GPORTAL servers (1522 mainly). I had a GPORTAL Conan server for 2 years (cancelled it recently) and don’t recall this issue occurring before (first noticed it like 2 months ago).

Does anyone play in SINGLE-PLAYER MODE and experience this issue? How about on private servers? Come on FUNCOM!!! Look into this already!

You guys are destroying Robert E. Howards IP. One of the greatest Sword & Sorcery IP’s … and you guys are dragging it thru the mud. If I controlled the Howard estate and his IP I would be suing you guys right now! FUNCOM is making it look bad :frowning: SAD!

Sure, it is. But calling someone else’s platform “shit,” then proceeding to call someone a troll isn’t a legitimate step. A better response would be something like,”yes, I’m aware that this issue is on most platforms, but I want to confirm my issue is the same by seeing what others with different pc clients are experiencing.” He didn’t respond in such a way.

The issue is SERVER DISCONNECTS. FOCUS! Someone needs a hug! I know I do :frowning:

Well … at least we are keeping this post alive … which is something FUNCOM probably does not want. KUDOS!

We started playing this game with friends about a month ago. And were shocked by the number of disconnects, we thought it had to do with our location. We are from Eastern Europe. But coming here to the forum looking for a solution, I am even more shocked by the fact that this problem is present in many players on different platforms.

I just read the posts to this thread. One of you quoted a Steam forum post for 2017 that no longer applies to the game. If you cannot provide additional information relevant to the issue, please keep your comment to yourself. The more relevant information that the community can provide will aid the development team in resolving the issue.

Funny how stupid this can get. I’m trying to troubleshoot this and if no one wants to cooperate… that’s fine. The game can die for all I care. You’re basically telling me something I didn’t ask for.

Cattibria is only a Mod and is only here to babysit the forums and forward information that gets sent to a Funcom email address that gets ignored. All they can do.
