He actually says quite a few things a lot.
Let’s take a walk:
Fighting the most important fight:
This next one is a little sus.
This next one is just wrong since I kept saying I was talking about Corrupted builds in general, not necessarily a Sorcerer Build.
I truly hope you all enjoyed. That’s all for now.
For what is worth, since this conversation has become a vendetta between easy and easier, the game can be played this way too…
Every player can create his own pleasure meter and everyone must be respected.
However, the common grounds will always be the official servers with the “outstanding” performance
.
My build could tear that up! (For the last few days it’s got
) We’ll see how many deaths it takes haha. I think I’d need a checklist of bosses to kill though. Little rusty on locations. Unfortunately I couldn’t Corrupt without a Sacrificial altar
.
I think you have enough material to train an Howardian language model AI.
NGL
Arcanist always makes for entertaining reads.
On topic though.
IMO making siptah recipes and sigils available on EL would go a long way towards helping with corrupted build stamina.
I’ve never used rolling thrust on my corrupted builds and never felt the lack on siptah. And I like to get up close and personal with enemies.
EL I do feel a tad gimped though.
I appreciate the response. It is worth noting that in AoW Ch4 Stamina is going to require a full second to start regenerating rather than 0.1 seconds as it stands. The regen rate will also apparently be a bit slower.
To get to what yoy mentioned, I find it incredible that you find even Siptah doable (doable in this case more meaning “fun or enjoyable”) while in a Corrupted build without Rolling Thrust- good job, honestly.
Do you often engage with PvP in this build? The Fiend, Demon, and Twice-Drowned Sigils really do go a long ways to alleviating the burden of Stamina, epecially if paired with say Gloves of Jhil/ Voidforge Longsword/Yog (or Set) Feastso, but I feel like without RT it’s currently a little tough to play/enjoy and after patch it will be leagues more tedious (using my experience in Testlive as a frame of reference) come back after the patch in a week after getting to know the system (unless maybe you’ve already tried Testlive with this?). I’d like to hear from you in particular if your thoughts have changed on such a build’s viability on both PvE as well as PvP. I look forward to hearing whether your opinion stays the same or if you feel that there’s a new barrier. Thanks either way for commenting!
No I don’t pvp but gloves of jhil regen is just that strong. The fact that it regens while attacking, running, climbing, etc is kinda op af.
With full sigils and the gloves I can run almost non stop with 0 points in grit fully corrupted…
I can also pull off full short sword heavy combo (the rapid strike combo) with 0 points in grit.
Gloves of jhil really just make one feel spoiled when playing on siptah.
Well you’ve been to the point and agreeable, so tonight I’ll give the Gloves another shot on testlive. I’ll go a step further after that and use them in conjunction with the Voidforge Longsword to really boost that Regen speed. Maybe they really are the gear that I’ve used but just never seen the full advantage of. Thanks for the suggestion!
I hope it goes well.
I can only relate my own experience with it which hasn’t been on test live yet.
Also need to point out I run 15 agility and Ranger set in all other slots. So still getting other stamina boosts just not from grit.
I just tried your suggestion. I am still actually against using the Gloves of Jhil because they provide 5 about stamina per tick. (not nearly enough to make it worth it IMO. That said, they really are something, especially if you primarily turtle or run a no-grit corruption build!
I can also say that something must have changed too in today’s version of the beta. It seems I can roll 6 times in light (with no delay in between) while wearing Abyssal gloves. I could have sworn that rolls took 20%? It is now 18.67% per roll. I either missed this change or it is fresh.
Regardless of all these things, whether changes were made or not, I feel confident enough to keep going with this build. One way or another, thanks for the inspiration! I’ll post an update for my post-update build in just a little bit!
What weapons/armour/buffs do you use for PVP + Tactics and do you use things like invisibility?
Working on a lengthy response that includes just that. Hold tight!
I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t proofread this much. Best of luck to us all.

I am going to leave this up to the user. Open-ended. If you’re still hurting for Stamina, I’d say buff that and score yourself another 21 Stamina. Otherwise, throw everything towards your preference in damage for an extra 30% Buff.
This build is not meant for thrall use, but it does have a follower damage bonus if you really want to buff that?
Concussive damage is NOT what you should be using this build for. Avoid that buff.
Can’t stress this one enough: DO NOT BUFF HEALTH as it will hinder your healing (and thus survival) capabilities.
Feasts to Yog (13HP/sec): This food serves at as your healing during combat while you’re trying to during active movement. If you find Feasts of Set easier to craft then by all means those work too to an identical effect.
Infused Aloe Potions:
These are actually extremely beneficial. They heal a bit less than others, but very quickly. Feel free to exchange these for Pure Aloe Potions instead if you find yourself low on Scales of Dagon.
Grotesque Excrescense:
a completely passive 1.8 HP Regen that compliments our other heals nicely.
Resurgence:
The big dog! As previously mentioned, this perk recovers a flat 80 HP when the player hits half HP and it is able to be used again as soon as the player fully recovers health. The heal cannot be stopped by damage!
We are using exclusively Light armor. That lets us do 6 rolls from full Stamina and helps us make or break contact swiftly.
We also gain boosted Regen from the previously- mentioned Feasts. Those boosts in Stamina regeneration are key to performance.
A few Sigils also amplify our Stamina management capabilities:
Sigil of the Demon: about 50% Stamina cost reduction for sprinting.
Sigil of the Fiend: 15% less stamina use per strike.
Sigil of the Twice-Drowned: 10% Chance for an attack to use no Stamina whatsoever.

NOTE: It looks like Weapon Oil duration was slightly lowered.
Please keep in mind that I almost exclusively fight players for my enjoyment at this point on the servers I play, so using Weapon Oils on Legendaries is nothing to me in terms of expense. If Weapon Oils are not an option for you, Master Weapon Fittings make a great substitution!

These Sigils, while exclusive to Isle of Siptah, are incredibly useful to this playstyle!
Ideally you will have each of these, but the Stamina & DOT Cancel Sigils are most important.
Goblin: Honestly I don’t even know the effect of this one anymore. I just use it.
Snakemen: Removes two stacks of bleed very frequently.
Jhil’s Brood: Lowers fall damage.
Demon: about 50% Stamina cost reduction for sprinting.
Fiend: 15% less stamina use per strike.
Twice-Drowned: 10% Chance for an attack to use no Stamina whatsoever.
Wolfmen: Regain 20 Health after killing an enemy. Good for PvE or a quick PvP diversion for HP if in peril.
Serpent: Removes two stacks of poison very frequently.
If the situation is right, the uncommon spell can in fact be to our advantage here as well.
Slow Fall: Works as a perfect ambush given that you have both the drop and are outside of earshot. That last part is unlikely.
Invisibility Self: Like mentioned by a few people on this post, using this can be another great way to sneak up on a target even if they hear the initial spell!
Creeping Darkness: Much like Invisibility Self, this can be used to have an advantage against an opponent even if they hear you cast it. Furthermore, it can buy time to cast another spell if you’d like to do so.
Lightning Storm: This spell is the ultimate form of passive damage on multiple targets that can effect them throughout a fight, just make sure that you give yourself enough time to cast since it’s a top-tier spell.
If you have any questions on this build let me know. I’m trying to have high hopes for AoW Ch4!
Hey, @MarcosC and @stelagel, I know that you two expressed interest in my build before, so I thought you might like to see this.
Awesome thank you!
can you Elaborate on this point
The more Health you have, the less useful Resurgence becomes.
That is because it heals a flat 80 HP and is able to be used again as soon as you hit full Health. I’ll add that to the post for clarity.
one more thing I can’t find Bestial Regalia on the wiki?
It’s currently not in the game but will be in the upcoming update! (Next Wednesday I think?) It’s part of the new event.
