Does anyone knows how strength adds weapon damage

We got weapons damage say 50

If max my strength to 50 what effect vs me having 0

Also how does light and heavy attack function

1 strength point adds 2% melee damage
Heavy attack deals ~140% damage

Example:
If weapon has 50 damage, player 50 str, enemy 0 armor
Light attack deal 100 damage (+10% from 3rd str perk = 110)
Heavy attack deal 140 damage (+15% from 4th str perk = 161)

Well if this is cross the board with all weapons then that’s why daggers are best weapon attack speed is faster then sword and each strike count as one hit.

Don’t you already have a thread about daggers? This one, to be specific

I know but it was hard to resist

So on certain weapons then nerfed attack so it won’t be op.

Best weapon I can think of wirl wind blades after updated they gave Diablo 3 attack on it. It’s fun but only good single target.

Damage even 4 bars strength it still 1 to 2% of black hand health pure swing

I wonder if the thrall has the same thing?

Depends on the thrall, some get more per strength than others. None of them get close to 2% per strength though.

Heavy attack varies by weapon and which attack in the combo, some do more than others. Some do the same damage as light attacks IIRC. I believe there’s a table in the devkit that has the actual numbers.

Roughly 1% bonus per every 3 ponts in STR. Based on my experiences during leveling slaves.
While non-human followers get 10% per every point in STR.

But that’s not the whole story… Daggers are inaccurate. The timing of dagger attacks and their animations make it so that you get hit more with them than just about any other weapon - besides maybe trying to use the Bow as a melee (close combat) weapon. And when you consider that some long swords and battle axes do 100dmg or more then daggers are nowhere near “best” or even close to being OP.

I remembered: the increase in strength can be seen by the bonus, which is shown under the attributes of the slave.

Hi, I suggest go to single player. Take admin rights. Give you everything you need and start testing. You can use thralls as target practice

Then when you play on a server, you know exactly what to do!

Then it’s better to install the UI Hosav mod, it allows you to see the amount of damage from each hit - both your own and the follower-thrall
