So, I found Conan in December. I think it’s a great game and have been playing it steady (1300 hours now).
I promised I’d start YouTubing it for my channel once I crossed 1000 hours. I just started gathering footage for that this week, and now I see this video.
So… yeah. I’ll just not. Sorry Funcom. Not interested anymore. I put too much into a channel to risk it on a vengeful copyright strike. Make a better policy. For now, I’m walking away.

I personally haven’t played it, but I know Wak stopping his vids is huge. Ive played since EA and I’ve watched Jade, Firespark 81 (also who the Firespark arrow was named after in Conan exiles), Kiah on fire and Wak. When battle pass was started, Jade and definitely Firespark, ended their vids pretty much. Kiah, I haven’t seen much lately of anything Conan related, but Wak stayed with it. Kept on for the long haul. Not now. Even though FC has had so many issues, Wak stayed. Hell Firespark loved CE, I can see why he tried Dune. But for FC to screw with their lively hood? That’s messed up in so many ways.

This is just baffling.
And the EULA is nutts. But I kinda expect that from anything you buy.
Is this only Dune related ? They don’t want anyone sharing glitches ?
I had the same feeling about Conan trying to stop people from doing that because that’s ALL I see across YouTube.
Streamers trying to teach other people how to cheat the system.
Like the tavern glitches.
Farming demon blood
Etc.
It saddens me that I have to balance the server manually to avoid people doing these glitches ingame.
Anyway I hope they finally just merge siptah to exiled and add more sorcerery spells like the ones in the dev kit. Called avalanche.
Could someone make a video of it from the dev kit so we can see what it was supposed to do?
And also add a sorcery DLC we can buy.
Big discussion on Reddit about this. I doubt we’ll get any response from admins on here. The CE portion is a ghost town now. The producers email in January was a joke. They have no intention of fixing the game at this point. One update that broke as much as it fixed and a hot fix to fix the update.
What are the other spells in the dev kit?
I saw one called avalanche, I can poke around and see things. But I’m not that great at using the dev kit. 
No excuse but this might help to explain copyright striking on YT:
For music copyright striking would certainly happen exponentially more than for video game videos. While I have not delved any deeper for games, I would say it doesn’t really happen often except for this event with Firespark. Perhaps this might be the beginning of the shit that happens with musical content creators. I pay attention enough to gaming media but if anyone wants to correct me please feel free.
Now with above said this would mean that FC is using AI scrubbers. That can be a much more multi-faceted and hot topic to delve into and I won’t do that here but for all of you angry and calling this shit out that they have done, remember the vehicle that makes it possible and that these are decisions being made by companies that have way more money than you ever will.
Truly consider where you stand as a consumer.

Fact of the matter is Funcom is doing everything in its power to burn bridges with fans and players to the ground.

The ONE thing that Funcom is doing right is showing themselves to be absolutely horrible at communication. They are managing to do that with no problems whatsoever.

They CANT merge Siptah into Exiled Lands.
Heck, the east border of Exiled Lands is already so far away from the origin point Vector(0.0f,0.0f,0.0f) that the physics start breaking. It’s an engine thing.
Don’t know what I mean? Drop something on the farthest island to the east. You will notice that the lootbag will just phase through the floor, because the collision is not working.
I figured it was just an AI word search. Just further proof the “I” part is questionable.

That’s easy. Where I stand as a consumer is as one of many that will not be giving Funcom any more money unless they revise their behaviour and start conducting themselves like they actually want customers.
