I never attacked the dancers because I 100% assumed conan would defend them. That’s a bit disappointing lol.
Having these modifiers on server settings would solve the issue:
Player damage vs. thralls 0.1 - 10.0
Thrall damage vs. players 0.1 - 10.0
Of course, adjusting these settings to make thralls and players more equal in pvp on official would be key.
Having pets and thralls on the same damage and health levels as players would be a disaster.
Imagine playing Ark where all the tamed dinosaurs are on equal level with players. It would be a total joke. No one would bother with leveling them.
To be honest, I DON’T want Conan to play any role at all- I just want to be play as a heroic, if morally grey character of a similar style making a story in the same world and setting.
For me at least, that would mean being the master of my own fate, not a master of slaves all far eclipsing my own strength.
ONE problem with this game is that it has always been easy in basically every aspect, and thralls just made it more than a joke. You can clear any combat content in the game with just your thrall while you can run around naked. Dont get me started with the 1 shot meta in PvP with sabres and horses 
Its supposed to be a survival game, no? Last time I felt like it was a survival game was like 2 or 3 years ago when I first started, and I tried to run across a plateau in the desert only to heatstroke to death within a minute. Also, trying to get past the noob river was actually kind of a pain since Hyenas had a gap closer + cripple which made it hard to progress further into the map. Temp is pretty irrelevant in the game now, and Hyenas can be completely avoided without any threat (just like every other mob in this game lol).
People will B and moan over this comparison, but the average new player in Ark will die multiple times per hour, and even when you get good at the game dying isnt uncommon. Now THATS how you make a survival game.
Imagine how much more fun and overall better this game would be if it was difficult.
I don’t disagree. But the visual novel players would.
