Ofc you play to have fun, but in a typical pvp game winning is part of the fun. Especially when losing can mean losing everything. It’s not just some FIFA game with the friends where you just play another match after losing.
And cheating is not ok, but I’m sure the people who cheat also have fun.
I agree about learning. You can learn a lot from having your base raided. But it’s still not fun being raided.

I disagree. It is one of the best points of the game. If players can’t handle it, then there is pve.

You probably didnt know, but Im on those servers that doesnt really rely on thralls unless u farm certain stuff.
In PVP u will very rarely see me with a thrall becsuse of what I’ve been saying earlier.
And if someone tries to raid me and those I play with, we always defend boring thing tho on officials it rarely happened. So stop bsing.

And yes thralls still destroys the joy in the PVP.
Game will never be trully fun until Funcom fixes their exploits and does something with hackers in official pvp servers… its the only truth (But it requires a lot of work for free: people arent going to pay you for fixing, and they will do for new DLCs…very sad)

That’s what I’m talking about. Without the modifiers then you can’t set thrall/pet damage. I thought it was obvious.

You want to hear it is about the player being stronger than the thrall or pet, and you do not want the thrall/pet damage modifier (which ever) changed.
With the modifiers in the settings, then this topic is closed, as solution is to adjust them for stronger or weaker settings.
Now, that doesn’t work in singleplayer, as those settings don’t show. Maybe you did not know that? So, it appears as a nerf to us.

Yea a few times on a few games but you are not right all players will do Every thing to win, some times its just the fun of the battle beside really come on winning all the time is boring as hell to be honest well UNLESS you never win, for me be it in pvp or pve its about the fun I have while I am playing not if I beat every one on the server, that is for kids not for grown up enough to learn from a loss, but most of us by now have figured out its not all about the win its about the end of the game play was it fun or boring or just a waste of your time.
So I am a fool am I because I do not need to be the winner winner chicken dinner sort of person, nope not a fool here but someone who understand the world does not run on who wins be it Conan or real life.
Do I really care if you are sick of others having options nope but making fun of me does not make you a winner btw, it makes you look like you are not grown up enough to have a conversation without trying to out win win win. Btw done talking to you , have a Merry Xmas.
It can be a fun challenge to play gimped, like no weapons and only fist fights, but it doesn’t change the fact that the base game is severely out of balance. Suggesting that people ‘just don’t use them’ or ‘just ignore the problem’ is extremely frustrating in this context.
I understand they are broke but some of what broke then was some users wanting these sweeping changes and the more changes the more broken they have become, hell they worked better before all the changes at least you got a fighter thrall not some thrall who says he is a fighter but got all archer perks and or some neg perk at level 20. Now you spend your time to level them for what, the perks really mean nothing to how they work, they are no smarter , they work no better. The still die in lava and walk off cliffs and stand still with no weapon in hands , decide to watch you get dead and just stand, no making them more strong or less strong will not be the fix for thralls usages, but until they there AI and perks are worst more. They could have left as they were and they were as useful as they are now.
Personally I wish the PC were stronger than the thrall because it just doesn’t feel very “Conan” to be in that situation.
I kinda expected to be a character forging their own way with the help of allies (thralls included) but essentially be the hero of my own journey- which is kinda the jist of all the Conan stories- but the way it is now doesn’t feel very true to that at all.
Game will never truly be fun until Funcom fix all their broken pish. Undermesh, server crashing, etc
Funny, i was thinking the other day, Conan has very little to do with the actual Exiles or Siptah game, outside of using characters and some lore, one would not know Conan was the headliner of the title. It would be like making sequels to a family space saga and not mainly focus on the family namesakes as the heroes…like say Star Wars EP 7-9. Seriously think about it though. Other than the first cinematic and the bar on exiles, what part does Conan even play? He doesn’t lead purges (which would be awesome) or even fight you as you slaughter the dancers
Imagine if You saw a poster with Metallica really big and the band in action palying, and the exiled tour as the sub headline. Then when you go to concert, Metallica only introduced the bands while holding instruments, but did not play one song. feel pretty ripped off lol…
