From my experience AOC provides still by far the better immersion to be a hero in the conan universe. CONAN Exiles besides (the rare appearance) of a Conan that looks like a badly modded skyrim toon (OMG why havent they reused the much better AOC char model and just give him new cloth?!) and reusing building blocks, armor and wep designs of AOC could be any random setup. Nothing makes you feel like beeing and adventurer in the stories and world of Conan…

What’s with people wanting AoC 2? You guys stupid? Seriously, you expect FC to make another AoC game while they cant even make the first game work? First fix the good game then think about remake. This game has around 10 years, and despite the bad things, it shouldn’t be abandoned. All it needs is a solid rework to fix the game’s issues, from bad levelling, lack of story (only destiny questline is really worth doing) to some expa being unbalanced and impossible to do in some cases. This game should not be replaced, it should be built upon.
I don’t want a remake to a game that doesn’t need it.
So please FFS stop talking about AoC2, this game doesnt need it.

I personnaly World never buy a funcom game again. hell Mutant year zero is free on epic Store and i will Not Touch it.
dont exspect anything try to enjoy aoc for what IT is and has been.

Agreed with Jarafin. Funcom can’t even release the content that was mentioned a few months ago and underwent testing on Testlive. And some expect them to be able to make an entire new game?
Not only can they not release the content they have planned they cant even find the man hours to police their servers , afkers running a mock in minis and they are no where to be seen . I am sure there is not chance of an AoC 2 when they cant even do the basics right their end.

Easy to call other people stupid over the internet right?. You have no education in online etiquette, I wonder if you would do the same in a real life social situation with someone you just met. Anyway, do you know about coding? how hard is to fix someone else’s bad code? sometimes is just better to start from scratch, yes, I know aoc2 isn’t happening right now, but you have other “mmo” games that with a good marketing strategy are getting millions of dollars in and started with nothing (star citizen) as an example. I just can’t get to play aoc anymore due to the graphics feeling so outdated when you have things like PBR engines nowadays with real time ray tracing etc, that look amazing.

There would be no need to call people stupid if they stopped talking stupid things like AoC2 when it is obvious as it is that FC wouldnt be able to make a good aoc2 because they cant even dedicate themselves to fixing the first game
And yes, I know it is hard to fix someone else’s code. That is why you study the code to see what is what. Takes a while, but once that’s done it’s possible to work on it, there is no excuse.
Well, if you want better graphics play WoW or something since you care about the graphics more than the game. The current game is already beautiful as it is.
I certainly dont want to see games from a buggy a*s hell Unreal Engine 4. And yes it IS buggy as hell

Because we (lovers of Conan) must resign ourselves to the idea that the Conan brand does NOT like people, at least not to the new generations, both as a lore and as a game mechanic. The muscular man in loincloth surrounded by problems that draws a sword and solves them by beheading them, does not appeal to young people. Same thing for game mechanics. The new generations want everything easy, all at once, colorful and sparkling with auto pilot. The wooden club, the rusty sword and the loincloth of fur, hardly obtained, like to me, maybe to you but not young people. Young people want to swim in the loot, enjoy the loot, drown in the loot, colorful and sparkling. Which is the most played content? The RF. How much do you see and see talk about Conan compared to other brands? At the cinema, on TV, comics, action figures sold? Little, very little, almost nothing.
This is the sad reality.
We’re the hard core of fans. Everyone here. An AoC 2 makes no sense and would be a bad investment. Working on AoC and adding new content that can bring back the veterans we missed, that makes sense

I took the trouble to login to this forum and post here is because we miss this game to me is the best mmo out there, wow? I never played that thing, hate the cartoon and colorful palette, problem is for me the graphics are so outdated now (10+year old) that I can’t get to play it again, also hard to get friends into the game since to them it looks so ugly compared to newer games?. What Funcom did with all of my monthly subscription when I was playing for more than 6 years on this game? they did the another MMO (Secret world) instead of injecting the revenue into AOC. 
maybe soon it may happen due to schwarzenegger’s insistence to make a new Conan movie.

Funcom is following trends and won’t take risks. MMORPGS are a dead genre where only a couple of titles take off and the rest will tank horribly. Besides, they already struck gold on following the survival games trend with Exiles, and it’s extremely successful.
I don’t know why they made Conan Unconquered, but it seems to be a cheap cashgrab game anyway.
That being said, who knows what trends there will be in the future? There might be a MMORPG revival someday. Or a sword and sorcery trend when people finally get bored of superhero movies. Amazon almost made a Conan TV show but opted for LoTR and WoT instead. If their fantasy shows take off I’m sure they will make Conan too and if that’s successful Funcom is going to cash in on that Conan hype, maybe with AoC2.
Dead genre? Wow classic had 1.1mil viewers on twitch. I can only imagine how many were playing.
