Grandfather Vathis - Double Standards and The Solution for it

, ,

I’ve always hated garbage day.

Do these go in the red or yellow bin?

You may be right.

How about the just change the name to Vanthas the Hippie.

Ooph…

I die alittle inside for every female Vathis I see destined for the chopper. Nothing’s sacred anymore.

Wish Vathis could be renamed to “The Legacy of Skelos” and leave it at that.
Nobody said The Legacy of Skelos could never be captured.

Then don’t look in my cupboard.
It’s full of hand selected female vathis’.

Gonna have to make do with Dickass the Sharp and Penis the Marauder.

Shedding more than a few tears right now.

TY @Halcyon. I urge the developers at Conan to ask themselves, “What is best in Life?”

I don’t recall that answer being listening to whiners. I think the whines of “no fair” are music to the general’s ears.

The easiest “fix” is to let us name our thralls, then you can all name any thrall Vathis. :sunglasses: Seriously I don’t think many players care if you have a Vathis and they don’t. Now if you had a pet dragon and I couldn’t have one…

That’s a good point.

There was a spot in the volcano that wasn’t necessarily under mesh. There was a climb able opening, and room for a base. It could be hit by Jhebal, and the opening could be attacked to get in. Unradiadable it was not. Many a clan were never warned about the sealing of the opening, and the fact you would be stuck and have to blood port out after it was reported as an “undermesh”. People loss way more than a Vathis. What i hear on this thread, is unfair is in the eye of the beholder. And Funcom has decided, like that area, it was never meant to be, and now is removing a thrall. I care less either way. Collecting and storing things on the game is not what i play for. I play to grind, so i look at it as an oppurtunity to grab more thralls and play the game. Just stating a fact that what one sees as being unfair, others see it as its a game, ehh.

It just feels akward.

The charm of open worlds are the nuances of emergent gameplay. To have that backfire is upsetting.
It’s like expecting someone to be “responsibly ingenious” in a game that is about survival.
It’s like walking on eggshells.

If cracked eggshells creates the challenge to adapt, then that is a very odd constellation for a game.

but they care to have a female t4 fighter from volcano, because vathis was too, but now only men fighter t4…problem of all non girl players, diversity of game again reduced

I have about 50 Dalinisia Snowhunters, but yes, it would be nice to see more gender diversity in other end game areas.
