Long story short, one person with multiple accounts keeps reporting us across multiple accounts so we keep getting wiped on pvec servers (after meticulously flowing all build rules, with the person then building in the area we were wiped out of and messaging us with laughing emotes), Funcom has been absolutely no help saying ‘they have done their investigations and stand by their sections blah blah’. What do we do? The clan enjoys the game and would love to continue to play, but this is getting ridiculous! Time to let the game die and push Microsoft for refunds? Thoughts? I personally think it’s disgusting behaviour that Funcom allows this behaviour.
This still happens? I have not seen any Official report about it. It does sound like an easy fix from what I read. There is no leadership here for the fix, even if wanted. Yes, ridiculousness is what this is, even if it is those from pvec that seem to look over the fence often enough. (…watching vids about it in canon)
Yeah it’s crazy, he’s even built around my bed and stuff so I can’t even grab the leftover chests. There’s a quite a few chests and loot still in the base that he’s built around, waiting for it to decay. Thanks Funcom for enabling bullying even in PVEC. I’ll post up Funcom’s reply to my latest report - doubt it will be different.
Would it be possible to construct a wooden box or two and stash what you are carrying, remove your bracelet to spawn at your bed and grab the loot? Then log out for x amount of time to be moved from the bed to a starting point on the map? Maybe have a clan member log in to get whatever is stashed in the wooden crates.
Happens on PvP servers very frequently as well. Very sad. Also if you get a bunch of reports (regardless of the action) they will not even look at your appeals. Funny because they let hackers and bot mass reporters run rampant while people who are innocent and play for fun are getting shafted from both.
The guy actually walled everything off, so you couldn’t even get in where the chests were. As well as walling in the bed. Griefing at its finest. But does not matter now because I was banned and I would imagine it would have been decayed. Funcom strikes again!
Tolerance of the absurd invites aggression. When a griever has you targeted, you will not be able to do anything about it while on any server or in any environment that harbors them. A private server is the only way to avoid such people.
Use the ‘Report Player’ function on your Xbox console. List the issues, take a couple of screenshots and make sure you’re polite. Put the player on block or mute. Don’t message them at all.
The “report meta” is definitely a problem. I’m assuming the only reason their reports end in success is due to the limited manpower available to handle these reports. They likely see the huge amount of reports for a single entity, and just decide to follow through for the sake of ticket “service level”. It would set the report team back quite a bit to “investigate” each one properly.
Definitely NOT how reports should be handled, but it’s the only logical explanation. I doubt there are automated things in place that trigger based on keyword volume, or any other form of automation.
So you play the game just 2 weeks now, and you managed to build so big to get reported?
Am i loosing something here?
@RedLynx23 last time i checked pvp flags work on pve-c servers out of pvp hours, exactly as they work in pve.
So if the op needs to teleport out of this prison and back in, a pvp flag will work just fine.
