I am very much opposed to this. Conan Exiles does not offer any tutorials for new players. So imagine getting on your horse for the first time, steering it with your mouse, seeing an enemy you want to fight, drawing your weapon and losing control of your mount
They should just make the current mode the default and allow us to toggle if we want to. Or fix the autorun, there’s even a bug report for it:
I honestly don’t think people are complaining about the difficulty of maneuvering. Even if you could control the mount with the mouse, it wouldn’t be able to corner the way your character can. It’s just that having to use so many keys for steering is cumbersome, especially during the time you’re just riding without fighting.
