You might whant to put news like this out on the Steam news as soon as posible as well, so folks dont get the feeling of beeing left in the dark.

But he found it on the internet it must be true, also the author of the study is clearly reputable because … well … it’s on the internet. I’m not even going to get into the debate, suffice to say he/she is wrong and no amount of arguments or links will change that when trying to convince persons who have studied in this field.
I honestly have no idea what people mean by getting a migraine from the “blue light” of the event. I play this game 5+ hours when I get on and I’ve never suffered a headache from it. I think what’s actually going on is your eyes are just working harder to see stuff than normal. It’s just normal eye strain people are blowing out of proportion.

And if you cud have a limitation so you only get 1-5 skeleton keys only i have not bran any problem.
It was a great success I believe too for me and my boyfriend. We mined some incredible stuff, things I never had before or were difficult to find.
I will agree though on it now needs to be over. I’m trying to be positive and look at today as being a bonus day seeing I thought it was suppose to be over. I will be upset tomorrow if it’s still going on though.

If you define success by being unable to build, unable to PvP since no one was playing, unable to farm anything but metors, getting migraines due to the eye strain required to play, unbalanced drops destorying the uniqueness of getting a good legendary, broken single player, broken doors that allowed players to walk through them even on pve servers for easy looting of bases, and handing out Dragonfire easier than iron ore then sure it was successful.

-could of- is the key here. It wasn’t that way so it is a problem. Now everyone will be running around with OP legendary farm and plenty of repair kits for them. It completely destoryed the risk v reward v choice of using your favorite legendary there is no risk now and all reward it will never break and it don’t matter if you loose it. Since everyone now has 100s of keys and kits.

I’d like to challenge this, I’ve gotten maybe 4 legendary repair kits, so not everyone got “plenty” of legendary repair kits. I could’ve gone without the metric crapload of honeyed wine I got, why that is so heavy I’d love to know, I mean 16 of them being 40.00 weight units!? Not to mention I got a lot of grease orbs and water orbs too, again, more unbelievably heavy items. Then because I started over early on in the event to try fix the SP unending meteor shower problem, I have a considerable amount of materials that are doing nothing but taking up space at the moment, like radium, blood, demon blood, obsidian, corrupted stone, star metal bars, star metal ore, black lotus flowers, witchfire powder, sandbeast bile gland and more.
I only played maybe 6 hours since event started and even I got 112 kits and 80keys… You must be really unlucky. Just because you didn’t get many everyone else I play with got at least 80 a piece last i checked my entire clan now has 824 kits and 321keys. Not to mention a load of the lesser items but it’s really the kits and keys that will break PvP and pve on servers soon. As soon as day light return s

Not going to argue this point, my luck is generally bad, but your post was made to sound as if everyone definitely got a lot of them. There’s bound to be at least a few others who have had similar luck to myself, and if so, they will be at a huge disadvantage when the servers return to normality, so despite liking this event, I will admit that it was a huge balance breaker.
If they repeat this next year, maybe they should limit what appears in the meteors or have the drops match the player’s level, say for example, the player won’t get steel bars or steel-made items until around level 30-ish. I’d say that the star metal bars and ore are probably going to break the balance somewhat as well, as people could start stockpiling star metal tools and weapons if they got enough.
yes and i told if they cud put a limit on the drops to max 5 keys/ player its no problem. And i got 0 keys so its far from everyone that got 100
