Trebuchets arenât really used, are theyâŠ?
I didnât even notice but youâre wrong there⊠Thatâs where the complain comes from.
or
As opposed to the following piece with double the area and double the HP:
Rarely because theyâre not a viable raid mechanic. They take too much time to prep and can be destroyed with 1 bomb.
Iâm more perplexed by you thinking that itâs grieving.
Oh, no - by griefing I mean intentionally driving your enemies back into the âstone hut ageâ, doing those âcrouch on the faceâ emotes (which I assume is meant as a substitute to non-consensual oral sexual activityâŠ?) and overall meant to leave your enemy in a psychologically distraught state.
I know that in PvP you simply aim for the META - most efficient tactics available, hence why so many videos show people going with the standard DLC/Star metal (or even hardened steel-level) gear - and âhuman waveâ (/respawn) tactics over âspending hours roaming the map for the best gear available, only to be out of it after 2-3 deathsâ - it just wouldnât make any sense.
Thank you for kindly posting those screens from the wiki. So - based on their data sheets - you do admit, that the Arcane wall/window - being the size equivalent of 2x the reinforced wall/frame, also has the equivalent of 2x the reinforced wallâs/frameâs healthâŠ? ![]()
Youâve got me giggling here. Sure some of it can be like that but you make it all sound so crude. Itâs usually much more complex.
Yes some PvP groups use crap gear so they donât lose out on much but that is not common.
Iâve really been enjoying having to farm legendaries and using them. Itâs wonderful. I also donât have gear fear ![]()
But back to the topicâŠ
Yes, and that is the complaint⊠You donât see the issue?
You have to deal 140 000 dmg to a piece before breaking through it, whereas against 2 stacked walls on top of each other you only have to deal 70 000 dmg to one of the pieces to break through.
You really donât see the issue???
I donât.
I mean - I understand that youâll need to place twice as many vases, to bring one tile wide worth of protection wall - but really, tactically speaking - if they just place a foundation - or 3 - behind them, all you can say is âwell, f-me sidewaysâ, and get back to the drawing board on how to assault their castle/base/whatever that âefficient for PvP purpousesâ monstrosity is that you have the unfortunate event of trying to take over/pillage/burn down, so⊠![]()
Speaking of which, a thought for the more ambitious builders among the PvP-ers - maybe a valid option now would be to create whole labirynths (of those nasty, âlost for hours insideâ styleâŠ), out of the dungeon - and other, for added confusion and deception - sets, so as to either force the attacker to blow their way up through 4-6 layers of foundations/walls, or choose to try & sneak up to a spot, where there would be only 1-2 layersâŠ? ![]()
I play only on PvE servers, but Iâve seen people get really âmentally exhaustedâ, after sometimes 4+ hours spent at one of our periodical labirynth events⊠![]()
Welp if people cannot see the issue then I guess itâs all good ![]()
I personally donât care because I donât PvP
Iâve taken the liberty of checking - albeit very quickly, so donât take it as a 100% certain answer. However - it does seem that you do have an alternative - if the spear is your thing - with the Lemurain one:
(depicted with the master weapon fitting, just as - it seems - you did for the Aesir & Bloodstone ones)

So I guess 8% Armor Penetration is nothing?
Sure sometimes it doesnât matter, sometimesâŠ
ummmm wahhhh ![]()
I do PVE. Not a fan of Conan PVP, but I like to build.
I agree with the armor as cosmetics, but gonna have to say no to this. Iâm not fan of a storage container that doesnât actually work. If they were to remove this feature, youâd just have a bunch of useless objects taking up RP decor space. They serve no purpose and Iâd likely not use them if it sacrifices a storage container space. So long as the container is not smaller than the smallest container (with comparable capacity), then thereâs no need to be concerned about p2w. Same goes for crafting objects. They should just maintain the size of anything free. Otherwise, make a freeâless fancyâalternative in a BP. If someone misses that BP, thatâs on them. You canât please everyone.
I also only PvE, but I can still see the issue that building piece could pose in PvP
Edit: And honestly nothing matters in PvE right now, I can defend my sandstone base from the hardest purges on the map without any thralls, and I will lose 2 foundations at mostâŠ
What is more likely?

Funcom has embarked on a grand conspiracy to subtly gank players who do not buy content

The same company that keeps having the same bugs reappear through, it is assumed, poor code control, implements building, weapon, and armor sets that do not follow the stated rules because of sloppy coding, admin, and testing
I have not seen a level of competence in planning or admin that makes option one plausible.
Depends on how you build it. You know exactly that building properly is key in this game. And I do not see much compatibility with other building pieces when it comes to those windows. Lets not forget that explosions distribute damage, so the more building pieces you have close by the more the damage splits. Sure you still have an inital damage to the wall but it will withstand a lot longer the more building pieces are around. Thats why stacking building pieces had their existing reasons.
Alright letâs make this clear:
Those T3 Foundations have 100 000 HP
You can literally build an extra layer with ceiling + walls/frames, but with normal T3 walls destroying a piece takes 70 000 dmg
Replace those walls with the Arcane Windows and you have an extra layer of protection, your foundations would die from 100 000 dmg, but these windows will resist for 140 000 dmg instead.
That is not how you build a proper pvp base in Conan Exiles.
