They changed building damage and some features of bombs over time leading up to AoS.
Most players know to use bubbles so avatars are fewer and other raid options are not viable.
Like the treb, 1-2 bombs and it’s gone. Takes over an hour to prep not including the projectiles. You’d have to make it extremely fortified which runs the risk of report meta.
It used to take anywhere from 40-50 bombs to take down a vault, now it’s 25.
You can’t create explosions anymore by shooting poison at a bomb or the fire.
Can’t roll bombs? Why not?
Why the placement distance?? I can stand on the ground and place bombs easily just by turning it, so it makes most ceiling bases null. We have bat and ice bridge? Why would we need additional distance?
Agreed. This game has an extreme advantage to attackers unless defenders are expected to use building sections to just replace damage which all pvpers lately seem to think is unfair, but are unwilling or unable to reduce their damage output on thick Stone walls with perfectly mixed tnt with no drawbacks and less so if the attackers outnumbers the defenders.
There are no winners unless damage of bombs and their ease of use isn’t looked at very hard, very hard indeed.
It’s about the psychological pressure … usually it take the maximum of 20 days / 4hour a day of bombing … then they have enough or do some mistakes and you’re in .
This persistence is why I don’t bother with trying to build to defend against players. If they want to work that hard, that’s fine, but that way too much work for me. There are other things I find in the game that are much more enjoyable. There’s nothing in my base I’d be heart broken over losing. Farmed it all once; can do it again.
I would rather they adjust the material requirements of a bomb instead of the harvest rate. The harvest rate means you can bounce back easier if you get raided, and that is fine.
×4 Harvest Rate is just too way too much, it is beyond ridiculous, it makes all farming utterly broken.
Thing is, once you’ve farmed materials to build a base, you don’t need that much more, yeah even for repair materials.
But when it comes to farming bombs, you need a large amount to take down a base, and this is mostly enabled by the broken harvest rate (also buying tar at mek’kamoses, which also comes from blood crystal which is affected by harvest rate)
here a unpopular opinon. let make the game harder for raiders … since we have age of war with the treasure coffers … how about we just make to where you have to place the bomb outside of land claim and then carry it to the base … but you are now suspectible to being blown up if you get hit. easy fix. Now lets get back to treb someone base should we ?
The only unraidable base , is just the dam with this funny key hole … by all the others you got different „tools“ ( ice bridge for example) on you’re hands … even if they have tons of repair stuff .
If you are struggling at the moment to raid someone , I can come and give you maybe some advice ( my tribe and me ply since Release and each of us got round about 10k of hours in Conan
I would argue you could do more then 2k in that time frame, since all you need are teleporter farm bases at certain keypoints like the brimstone lake. Using golems in addition might also help. I doubt that most people that do not play pvp on a regular basis understand how much dp we are actually talking about here. Its an insane amount. You can literally empty out a well populated server in a couple of days.
I know that we as a clan always had massive amounts of dragonpowder stashed away. And this was only the dp we didn´t actually use for raiding. I have no doubt that you could double the amount of dp nowadays easily.
I know that most pvp players are against higher costs and longer crafting times because they prefer the easy raiding of bases. But as long as the defenders are left without options to defend their bases properly ,as it should be, we won´t see a growth in player numbers in Conan. Because most people are no hardcore gamers and can simply not keep up on pvp servers against the tryhards. No matter how you argue, that imbalance is killing the game.
Pvp depends on balance. And we actually don´t have that and most likely will never see it.

And if you wanna bomb some base , find some friends and go for it … learn out of you’re failures and become an alpha . That’s the spirit behind Conan exciles pvp
You don’t balance between players, but between parts of the game in PvP.
You ideally want different weapons to have different strengths and weaknesses making them all viable for different situations, but we know this isn’t the case.
You also want to balance raiding vs. defending, with interesting mechanics as opposed to bombs vs. crapton of repair materials, which I think is just boring as hell.
Here, we’re saying that raiding is too easy compared to defending, that’s where some re-balancing needs to happen for PvP to be a better experience, that’s how I see it.
You’re right, it is possible, but it is also more tedious, because with ×4 Harvest Rate you would have this amount in basically 1h30 to 2h…
Let’s admit harvest rate is not the issue, although I personally think it heavily participates to it.
→ Another thing that is totally broken resource-wise is the respawn rate, everything respawns way too fast in this game, it is crazy… Maybe the respawn times should be severly increased so that rarer resources would actually be fought over, and could not be farmed to insane levels in a matter of hours.
says a lot about you and your clan. Your not on a server for having competition or epic fights with other clans, because otherwhise you would let people build up first.
All you care for is completely wiping a server, so you can pretend you have big b´s. You are in fear of other clans otherwhise you would give a crap about camping ressource spots.
You see, this is exactly what I am fighting against. That people come to a server and wipe it clean without conscience just so their little ego gets a push. People like you destroy the reputation of Conans pvp. Because you give a big f… about anybody and anything. This hypocrisy I can´t stand. That people claim they love the game but then do everything to destroy it by intentionally depriving it of all the basics of existence.
