Ok so now u get rocknose eggs and iron ore, and food you never use because everyone uses aloe soup. and a bunch of low tier stuff like brimstone and ice and stupid stuff like. i didnt get why they put in the picks . but i didnt get 5 red dragon heads 2. whats the difference. so for me the events over waste of time i will go back to the stupid grind. iI think I’m getting to the end of my rope. I couldn’t find a spot where they would land and stay. now that i have, found last night a good spot. I wake up and there’s no point.

I would also like to know what is the Uber loot now since you said there was , and what is the high end. u said opening meateors with high end tools gave better loot so !!! what is the better loot?
Legendary repair kits, black/white dyes from what I found so far.

Specifically, we removed Dragonpowder, Star Metal Picks and Skeleton Keys so people weren’t farming them like crazy. One player reported getting 20-30 Star Metal Picks and 15 Skeleton Keys in about half an hour, so for balancing sake we needed to take them out.
You will still get things like Legendary Repair Kits and Black and White Dyes, as Rorik pointed out, and practically every other crafting material in the game.

What did you Guys remove from the Meteor? Did we still get Starmetal and star Metal Bars? or what is this “Uber loot” at all?
I get nothing. I can find them, there is still some of the ‘fairy dust’ swirly around them. But when I hit it with a pick, a hatchet, even a skinning knife, all I get is the ‘tink’ sound.
Same with the level 60 boss mobs. No hide, no skeleton key, etc. Just ‘tink’.
Effects are pretty cool on my machine, though

So did no one at Funcom do any testing on these meteors before this was released? Who looked over the loot tables used to draw these items from and not see how breaking this was?

That’s a very weird bug. Are you able to harvest resource nodes (rocks, trees, etc) as normal?
I think there is an employee(s) that sabotage every patch they put out, can’t think of anything else that explains the constant issues, I mentioned sabotage like 6 months ago.

So you turn on the lights and stop handy out the good candy on a Halloween event? You might as well just cancel the party. Your first event and you let whiny brats dictate it.
Now they know they can cry and control future events. Don’t you dare add snow for the Christmas event -holy snowballs it will be an uproar.
I bet half the complaints were from players who could not see their Sexiles mod in action.

Oh i was farming yesterday a spot whit meteors for a will i filledd up 3 big chest and a camel my loot on a officel server whit obsidian pickaxe whit efficence perk was 6 skeloton keys 5 star metall axes not even close too the guy whit 10 time harvest and his 50 skeleton keys and 50 pickaxes i was in total finish 10 spawns of meteors so oh and i forgott 2 dragonpowder so i call this guy a fake newser

He was probably playing on a private server with some ridiculous harvest rate. Private admins set these harvest rates then complain to FunCom when people get too much stuff. I seen some post from a private admin saying the meteorites are destroying his server economy, he needs to reevaluate his harvest settings…

where are the spots that they land, ive seen the meteor showers in the distance but could not find any of the meteors.
They do not appear unless you are standing in the exact spot they land and actually see them land. Wish they would fix this, I spend hours last night running to where I seen meteorites streaking in and when I get to the location seconds later, there is nothing there but the glitter.
Probably cos they drop every 20 min, and saying stuff like 20 star picks and 15 keys is huge overestimation.
You could get max like 7pick/key per 12 meteors, but most time 0-3

@ DarthRamos if i run 2 squares to them then i wont see any, if less i don’t have problem
That is what i mean on a offical server you have too wwait 20 minuts befor the next coming so you can make the math by 10 spawns a 20 minuts and the loot was not even close too this guys 1 time harvest by 10 +harvest settings and i was the only one that has loot this place

My base is in the highlands, I saw meteor showers but could not tell if they feel in/near the spillway or tellis lake(think thats what its called) its not a big deal, just thought it be cool to at least see one before the event is over
