We got the same problems at PS4.

The only thing wich can hurt those kinds of players, while funcom doesnt wanna change it, is being more toxic than those that abuse this.

Fix some sandstone foundations, block all the obelisks, block the brimstone and bomb their bases… Players base will get less, wich will hurt Funcom/Tencen in their pockets soon or late.

Ow btw, use a 2nd xbox/psn account. Since they cant ban based on console IDs. :wink:

Yes, your body is in the world for awhile before you gain control of it.

I was in my base, max shelter, just as a sandstorm rolled in. I then watched a friend log in, stand up, take sandstorm damage and die. All before she could take control of her character. In a max shelter base.

The bugs are real.

Exactly. I don;'t want the game to become a drain, but the idea that fast travel on PVP should be uber protected is just not logical. That is also the problem with PVP, there are
a lot of PVE people on the server, including some all day farming “alphas” who think any one who raids, not wipes, but raids is toxic and ruining the game. I enjoy being ganked some times. It gives me incentive to retaliate and not feel like a bully.

Something no one has mentioned yet is part of the problem is people playing on subpar PCs.

On both our PCs at home, loading the game after teleporting or going into dungeons takes less than half a second.

It is, sad but true…

PVP should be PVP and not PVLP… (Player Vs Loading Player)

What else should we do if people running our pvp experience and Funcom doesnt do anything about it?

I get what i said is wrong, but after years of complains from a large part of the pvp community nothing did change…

So we should keep buying DLCs and let toxics ruin our game experience? And dont care about Funcom not doing anything to stop those guys?

I mean, does Funcom really thinks that those toxics care about a 7 or 14 days ban?

There are 10+ people undermeshing clans around, they dont even hide it anymore.
10 gets banned for 7 or 14 days and the other 10 keeps farming meanwhile.

No way im gonna let anybody ruin my game experience with the use of glitches or abusing of flaws inside a game.

Oh, you misunderstand me. I know it’s a good viable strategy. The only way to tamp down on it is to fight back. Camp the spawn campers. It’s just that it causes the experience to lose its fun for me when it comes to that type of thing. I would rather be alone in my game world being bothered by sabertooths instead of sharing the game world being bothered by spawn campers.

Easiest fix, funcom builds “obelisk temples” with doors that only open from the inside. This would solve both sides of this debate. Although its cheap you could camp the obelisk door, however the defending player would atleast be loaded in. Wouldnt need to be anything but a 2x2 enclosed area. Same thing as camping the front door of a base during non raid times. Ppl port in, are loaded into the game. and then leave the temple area. Least then you have a chance to defend.

As to the obelisk campers, I don’t know Humm maybe grab some friends and go another route and gang the campers? Spank em so they stop?

As to undermeshing, screen shots and report.
Maybe at some point all the reports will warrant an budget and they can hire some people to clean up faster but 2 weeks isn’t that long to wait for decay.

When you come to a FORUM it is to talk to the community. Whoever wants to comment has that right.

They are usually gone before you can spank them through a other route. From that point they take your gear and kill ur thrall. Even now with the thrall attacking outside raid time exploit.

You can get reported for such so none of this works as a viable counter anymore

Whay cant they just ad a defens buff when you teleport so you cant get hurt untill you start to move?

Yes, it has happened to me too. it takes a long time to load the character in the obelisk, but it depends on the pc of each one

You know i really respect, like a lot, @CodeMage and @WhatMightHaveBeen. They always keep it simple, they never put sauce to what they are going to say, though whatmighthavebeen sometimes speaks really professionally and i loose him. This is not the first time this guys take a stand in conversations like that. BELIEVE ME they love fair fights like you do, you almost support the same ideas, i think that what happened to you is the most common mistake someone can do in a debate, you raze your tone and you lost. What you lost is the decency of your noble speach, about fair pvp, that i tottaly agree. Yes, this is the game, yes, teleporting and exiting dungeons is a risk, still there is nothing honorable to the action and nothing fair. If you go hunting and see a mother (animal) feeding the babies and you pull the trigger, then your IQ is lower than the animals. Still this is our wolrd, fruit of the loom.

It’s only an exploit if devs say it’s an exploit.

Not just because we don’t like it.

But yeah they should make it so our character doesn’t load in until after the rest of the game.
