So great - this is exactly what single-player is for. Why does his personal vision of how the game should be played need to be force-fed to everyone else?
1 or 2 serves is not gonna hurt people, allso funconm can use is as a test and see if people want to play on does 2 servers, you can still play solo play on a officels, beside that its a choice you have to choose if you want to join or not its not a forced thing on you, beside that a server is wiped between 4-7 years if you follow days @Raudl says in the beginning of the topic, and yearh its shall not be on every server their shall be a wipe its only about 2 servers.
ps i have played tha game since it came out one early access and after they luanched the game frome EA their have not being wipes that makes me unfun to play on officels

1-2 servers is fine but this is the first thread I’m hearing that.
Until now these guys - for years - have been campaigning that all officials must be wiped at x intervals. Since it gets little traction it looks like they’re changing tact, but I suspect after that it would be right back to the old tune.
better to test 1-2 servers out and if people love it then they need to do it on only does 2 servers.

The irony is everytime anyone suggest making a variety of server types, people trigger and say “dont force it on me” without reading the initial post. There is also the fake argument that how would Funcom manage different serber types. A funny line to me, Since Funcom does not even manage servets other than updating patches…ut alas here we are in todays internet…my way is the right way, even though something like Living settlements on officials was forced down everyones throats. My final piece is we need 2 or 3 servers of wipes, 2 or 3 DBD servers. The market ( player count ) will tell Funcom what the preference is.

There is nothing wrong with having servers that have regular wipes…for gameplay reasons. If you are under the assumption that they will run smoother you are not informed.
Limiting the max player count from 40 to 15 would probably do the trick, but what fun is that?
Logged onto my official server yesterday night with 21 people on…definitely playable, but I wouldn’t want to PVP that way.

I can set here and give you screen cap after screen cap of server with just 8 and 9 on that the ping of is so high you can’t join. And I can show you servers with 14 on and a ping under 200.
I have ideas, theories as to the cause, but not the info I’d need to prove anything.
I am still waiting on how a new PC is going to fix that. Right, it wont and you simply can not admit it can you? Because that would practically be admitting to being wrong.
Why maybe because of server lag. I thought your brand spanking new PC fixed that. Hey I can be on and able to “play” with 14 on, if you can deal with the server lag. I’m certainly not going to be doing dungeons or fighting bosses.
