This has been raised many times and is usually resolved by one of these.
Not overclocked, and I am using latest drivers. I have 900 hours+ playing this game, and these crashes only started after the 1.0 patch on release. It is not my system, but something in theirs. Others on the 1504 server have had the same problem. Funcom needs to fix their broken client.
Hello I had a problem where I spawned in and my two large chests were gone and all the loot was on the ground. I doubt someone came by and didn’t take the loot or destroy my thralls as they always do. After a few secs the loot was gone and my chests never appeared.
Have you checked your event-log in main menu?
yes I have but it was after hours when I put the chests up then log back in and its gone. I placed the chests on the ground. Considering my location and the fact that my thralls are still there on their stations. Plus I’m not working inside of a building only outside. Plus I have another large chest that has still not disappeared.
This is strange indeed. I’ve never heard of some sort of bug like this. But since you have found your loot bags it must be kind of raid of players or npc (purge). You cant loot bags if they had dropped to long ago. They still show up and you can see the content. But as soon as you try to take it, all disappears.
considering the strategic location I chose and the fact that its been happening more than once leads me to believe it isn’t players. Its such a good spot I cant even mention it on here. I read on another discussion that someone else had a similar issue where they placed a large chest on the ground only to find it missing. Not on a structure but on the ground. Its always the new chests I put up and never the one original large chest I placed. If somebody was intentionally looting my stuff they would surely return and finish the job and come after the last crate and kill my worker thralls. also I have five regular chests that were placed right next to the large chest which is why it doesn’t make sense to me.
Have you checked decay timer with repair hammer on these chests? Maybe the bug is related in that way, that is, not connecting the structures with your chests for decay calculating proberly for the new placed chests. In that case, the chests will have a different timer than the rest of the structure.
I haven’t tried that I guess I didn’t think to try that because the small wooden chests are still there. Plus there are no structures. Its more of a nomads workshop.
Well, I don’t know why only some of your chests disappearing, but I’m remember, I had something similar with a camp with only wheel of pain some chests and campfire. Until I placed some foundations nearby (doesn’t need to be connected), some of these chests disappeared a few times.

Fluidpress illustrates as one should use “hides” to use it and putting hide (or any item) I am guessing gives you the achivement but you should actually press like fish to get oil

Please fix the palisade exploit on bosses. It makes it too easy to farm keys to get legendary weapons…
I think the main Problem here is not that funcom can fix this alone. Think of it. They are using a third Party game engine. In this case it is the unreal engine. However, updates and patches or new Features gets released on a monthly Basis and the devs Need to work Close with the unreal Team to get their fixes done. What I’m trying to make clear is that, at the beginning of EA, the state of the unreal engine was different than the current build. So development is an ongoing process! Even after release. Not to mention that porting a game from an old build to a newer build is not as easy as you won’t think.
it is not an exploit and crafting These Palisade is not easy either. Considering you cannot repair the weapons without a purge thrall so please Focus on more important stuff. I have no time to sit half an hour hitting an npc seriously. The fight still takes over 5 mins which is okay.
I’m wondering if the “slow” progress of fixing of bugs, so many people complaining about, has anything to do with the upcoming new free content or DLC, which is scheduled for this month? Are you guys trying to tie these two things together or is it some kind of resource shortage because of it?
I think stuff like chest vaults disappear after a while if they are placed before placing a foundation but I can’t confirm 100%yet
Not to mention, you can’t open world boss chests until you’re level 60 any ways, and by that time, you already have some of the best weapons and armor from other sources. Also, the system doesn’t seem to give you credit for the kill if the boss dies from a palisade. So, there’s not much of an XP gain either. It’s a totally pointless thing to fix.
They need to fix more fundamental issues first like the broken weather system and purges not working in single player and on some servers. The weather system was working prior to the final release.
This needs to be lowered to 40 at least, or give us a server setting to change it.

Issue : Purges happening, just not to us
We have been puzzled for the past fortnight at how we hadn’t been purged since this update and believed it was serverwide. We adjusted the settings but still not purge. Turns out, everyone else has been getting purged, yet our clans purge bar has been full all this time and we’ve not been hit. The only notable difference is that this is the admins clan. Could logging in as an admin or spawning building parts have bugged our clan? or have we just been lucky to not get hit?
I see on this forum a lot of people saying their purges work, others who say they get none. Could the others who have the none issue have also been logged in as an admin at some point?
