Please consider moving some three star bosses Funcom

It was a gotcha moment, but not intended to be at you. It was just your comment that was exactly what I was waiting on.

Im not in any way, shape or form saying what you did was right or wrong.

I only wanted to hear someone say that blocking an animal spawn was against the TOS, because that brings the ā€œblocking one rock or treeā€ into the equation of that discussion. Im sure those that I brought this up with are seeing this as well.

What are you trying to prove? A one of a kind boss with a one of a kind item drop is a far cry from a tree or rock. That’s a pretty weak point to try standing on

PVPers build there. Nice places to hide to get our grub on. Still, wouldn’t object to more stuff in it.

It seems we continue… lol

Point is, yeah, its one boss. There are many on the map. If the reason is to farm keys, there are other ways to do it, but lets go with you on this and say its blocking content and against TOS.

So why isnt blocking other resources also breaking TOS? There are many other places to farm resources.

My point with this, and not against you in general, is that people want something admin destroyed or player banned because 1 animal out of many that can be farmed for keys is blocked, but have no issue with people blocking forrests or iron areas. What would you say if someone built in all of Gods Claw?

Will a croc give me a rhino king head? Would a spider?

No. They don’t.

Because there’s thousands of rocks and only one EDIT: two rhino kings. Common materials and rare items are two wholly separate ballparks

This is such a reductionist take I can’t tell if you’re serious.

Rare items are less common than common items, so blocking them is a no-no. When there’s a thousand rocks to one world boss, that weighting deserves a distinction.

Godsclaw I’d say is another site you shouldn’t build on. Sure you can get iron in other places, but it’s a big hotspot with high density.

I thought i could getbthat head off of the black rhino in safari. Never really farmed it tbh. Serious question.

Rhino king and black rhino are two separate types and have two separate heads. The trophies are noticeably different in size

Ahh, okay. Again, the onlynheads i collected were bird and cric heads back in old days. Ised them to trigger alarms of what wall was being attacked when we had an island base in eastern map area. Giod to know.

I dont know why you would call a rhino head a ā€œrareā€ resource, but that ties back into the discussion on the other threads.

What do you call rare and what isnt? You say there is two rhinos in the game to farm the head. What do you need the head for in the game?" Its rare, but useless. So, does the TOS cover rare and useless items?

Youre digging into this far more then I ever thought you would lol. I merely needed someone to admit that blocking one animal spawn is against the TOS.

What do you need anything for really? It’s a collectible, which blocking the spawn for prevents getting. Simple as.

Again, why? What does any of this matter? Your gotcha moment is so pointless when you water down your own cause by conflating a rare boss with ā€œone animalā€.

I told you why it was a gotcha moment. Its because I wanted someone to admit that blocking one animal was against TOS. Thats all its about.

Yet its still available. So blocking one way to get it makes it against the TOS…and ill add, how many people collect King Rhino heads? Ive never seen anyone in the 5 years Ive played collect them. Maybe they get one and make a mount, but since you only need one head for that and there are multiple spawns, it makes the ā€œcollectableā€ point moot.

At what point do you draw the line and say ā€œblocking this is ok because you can get it somewhere elseā€. You already admitted blocking Gods Claw would be wrong, even though iron is a very common resource found around the map. Would it be because its easier to mass farm in one spot?

So does that mean that if you block convenience, its against the TOS?

PS: You didnt answer my question if the TOS covers rare and useless items.

I posed the same question on the Crevice. it is a sort of mini fast travel, saving minutes from running around the mountain. Got the same response, ā€œBut that is differentā€ Which brings back the ToS as being very subjective. Which i believe isbthe hill you are defending. I defend that with you.

JJ’s base here is on an official server?

It that’s an official server you better hope no one reports it… that is a PRIME candidate for an admin wipe.

This, I completely agree, I’ve seen on official server where most world bosses were despawned, the problem is if you allow one to despawn a world boss then it would be the same if others did the same, no one should have a special right over others.
I can understand @JJDancer, she has tried a lot of things to avoid the despawning and her thralls killing the world boss there so that others can enjoy it, but I am not sure the solution is to move world bosses because they were probably added in many such places to bring more life to the different parts of the map, it is the boss lagging into the base which seems to cause the problem, so this should be what the devs should fix instead, and about despawning world bosses, I don’t know how it could work or what problems it could cause, but I was thinking, what if a world boss always spawned in its spot no matter if people built there and let them do damage to buildings, not directly but an area effect of being aggroed by someone, then people would know that building right next to a world boss also involved a risc… Well it was just a thought, there may be problem haven’t considered, ways of exploiting it etc…

Without visiting it, and testing it yourself for objective data, you underliningly make a claim against her stunning and sexy base. I for one don’t think such a base is illegal on its face: I asked this question some time ago – why do we have PvE in the first place? Isn’t showcasing this incredible experience in all its majesty what we’re supposed to be doing?

I say this as a knuckle-dragger, who must find new ways to express himself on PvP, where ā€œbuildingā€ is so 2018.

When the game rules are a vague moving target, this is easy to say and rather more difficult to achieve.

Pretty much.

Except the OP is not blocking the boss, but rather is asking why it lag spawns in their base.

ā€œJust move the base!ā€ that has been compliant with server rules for 3+ years.

No.

The OP stated their solution to the lag spawn of the King Rhino in their base killing their lower tier thralls was to set higher level thralls to kill it.

I am missing the obligation to let your thralls be killed because of a game flaw just in case another player want something,
