I don’t think people are asking Funcom to remove fences. I think they’re asking Funcom to remove the damage that the fences receive from players’ attempts to climb them and/or the damage they deal to players attempting to climb them.

Well there has to be a penalty for trying to climb someone’s base when you really shouldnt be. Also from the players base perspective, ill know if someone attempted it when the fences are damaged. Otherwise i wont know if there was an attempt or not.

For PVE i usually wouldnt care, but when i log in and half my base is destroyed, and it was because someone dropped a convergence trap nearby and then ran to my base , well thats an issue that deserves a penalty.

I still don’t understand why you think people shouldn’t climb your base in PVE(-C). It’s not like people can’t grief you with the purge-pulling from a convergence trap if they can’t climb. Griefers gonna grief. :man_shrugging:

I want damage to players climbing across my crenelations and fences. We have a open to the public map room. Pve official. We don’t want people kiting our neighbor Mr. Rotbranch over our walls using our thralls and pets to kill him. And you know it is done.

Well they can climb all they want- theres a penalty for that currently. The OP is asking to remove damage to fences. Like cmon , its not even an issue. I like knowing if someone is poking around. If i decide i want to PvP id want to know.

Yes, the @ Community informs those in question. But you likely still will not receive confirmation. We don’t know if they view it as a feature and not an issue. We don’t know if it’s actually even possible to set up like you’re suggesting - I would presume it would be a huge PITA for almost no actual benefit. And, even if someone who reads it agrees with you, by the time it’s bounced around the discussion table it’s likely too much to ask them to find the thread again and explain things - especially given the fact that questions like these (and yes, this actual question) are asked over and over and over again in these forums - not to mention all the other media sites FC maintains.

I do it all the time - it’s awesome! But I only do it if I’m pretty sure the player’s thralls are capable without causing any thrall deaths. :wink:

Hmm… :smiley: maybe for the same reason that if I went outside irl to someone climbing my house I’d smack’em on the back with a shovel so they climb down and gtfo my property :smiley: Idk lol

Edit: on second thought… maybe that would be crossing the border into PvP? :thinking: :man_shrugging:

As long as there is only personal violence, and no property damage, that’s PvE-C.

Altho the Gravedigger isn’t the best weapon for knocking an annoying interloper off the awning.
We also must keep in mind that some nations have very particular concepts of property use by the general public.

I don’t, actually. I never found a way to kite any mob over anyone’s walls. I thought mobs couldn’t climb in Conan Exiles.

I will farm for you some locusts to fix Queen sandreaper! If you place 2 Queens to this open the mob will fall down like a fly!
Or you can place 2 berserkers, one with mace and one with great sword, it will work faster :wink:

Maybe… The Big Guys can step over fences and low walls that would normally be enough to stop the smaller or human sized NPCs.

Yes the Rotbranch can do damage over a three Fondation wall and depending on his attack in several Fondations. In reality if he was to break into the base area we have plenty of Berserkers to put him down. We just don’t want our base used as a way to defeat this guy. With the way the wall is set up they can swim around the ends health up and go back to fighting just keeps our thralls out of it. How big a deal is it to repair some fences or crenelated fences. Leave things as they are. Fix your fences as needed. Happy Trails

The rot branch cant climb, so how would they kite it over the walls?

And BTw, all they have to do after 3.0 is bat fly in, soooooo…

on a pve server? They are asking for only the pve servers to remove that function. it causes hammers when doing purge repairs and a griefer over time could break them just to be a djck. pay attention.
