Actually, one is always directed to not start a new thread if existing (even old???) already exists. So kudos for using search and then reigniting the discussion.

Inactive threads get locked outā¦ this shouldnāt be possible unless a moderator unlocked it again.
Not all inactive threads get auto-locked by the system. From what I could figure out, if a topic has generated enough interest among the forums users, it doesnāt get auto-locked due to inactivity. I donāt know if this is some kind of heuristic implemented in the Discourse software of if the mods manually mark a thread as āinterestingā.

Old thread or not, seems relevant. Yeah, put the sword of Crom and lifeblood spear back with the next update.

ā¦ to how stamina and durability look, this one is in favour of some heavy TLC for the Lifeblood Spear. Perhaps, if flavour is an issue, make it a corrupting weapon with a life and stamina drain ability, suck the points out of your foe? Otherwise, make it so it seals bleeding and purges poison as well as improving passive Regen to a level that might matter?

As of the current Beta, this one thinks itās about in the sweet spot. If using the only correct build, it is a monstrosity. The build in question is good for pretty much any Strength weapons and works wonders with Spears as well, so it wonāt require drug induced lobotomy when the sword breaks. Unless there are significant changes from the current servers formerly known as Testlive, the SoC going to be a top tier killing implement.

I didnāt enjoy this weapon to itās best, but i believe that this weapon can āgo backā to itās glory as long as it will have a pvp balance.

Yes, love please. This rare sword to the ones that pled on Crom only 3 swings before stamina drain. I say 3 because right now on PlayStation you can apply 2 before you loose your stamina. The one counts even if your second was some minutes ago.

Again like the lifeblood spear, give to this weapon itās old glory and balance it for pvp as well.
From all the weapons of all times act of violence is my best, the second is Yogs touch!
Youāll have thralls with melee dmg multiplier over 3.
Get used to insta kill because it will be a thing soon, SoC or no SoC.

Not quite because the original post was about totally different weapons than we have now (ok maybe not lbs but definitely soc)
Maybe so, but at least make that one not completely useless to the player character, or make it able to be used on a thrall again. Itās a trophy right now.

@WhatMightHaveBeen has about a year to show up and this post was on July of 2019, when some thralls were literally one shot you with the sword of Crom on pvp servers even until 2.4 arrived. I just fail to remember if on July of 2019 thralls had levels on PlayStation. If i am not mistaken they didnāt had levels back then. So i am a bit confused in this part. I am trying to remember really hard but it will come to me, i am just getting old Marcos and my brains go meatloaf.

A strength corrupted character can hit around 1100 with SoC special attack in beta.
When you add in the agility line if you hit from behind its over 1200, with rolling thrust you will be hitting about 60% armor pen and you can roll - special attack - roll - special attack all day. You can do this with all 2h swords, but they have 75 base damage and SoC has 107 base damage so it goes hard.
Now all of this is important because health values have been reduced, a baby dragon has around 1400 health, UC bosses have around 5-6k hp, red mother at 8k hp. Even not corrupted you could get close or above 1k per hit and knock out everything on the map in seconds.
Still not useable by thralls though, which is good.
Yep, just nerf the Spearās damage/AP values to be the lowest of the legendary spears to offset the healing. Sword of Crom should absolutely be usable on thralls.
I found a conversation i had on 9/10/2019 with a pvp admin. The Thrall leveling system came with the Derketo dlc at this time. Apparently my favorites back then was the relic hunters because i was whining for their destruction. When the leveling system arrived all my old fighters became entertainers with 100hp. The funny thing i remembered from this period was their feed pot mechanic. They were stacking all the food on them. No matter if feed pots never actually worked 100% correct, at this time they were working really good.
But the āold thrallsā were stealing stacks from the feedpots like starved thieves 
. Ofcurce i break bonds with all of them, with 100hp and unable to combat they were totally useless. Yet a lot of people tried to keep alive some of these thralls for collection or sentimental reason, i donāt believe any of these thralls is āaliveā anymore.

He aināt coming back. I know this for a fact. He was banned and had his user reset for challenging certain devs and forum posters over thier biases from shared discords (or ones he percieved).

Both got nerfed because of how they worked in PvP without any regard for PvE. We āNeedā PvP damage and PvE damage to be separated if any real balance is ever going to be achieved.

Quick answer: YES, and even BUFFED.
Sword of Crom should be viable for PLAYERS too: maybe drains DOUBLE stamina, but not all with 1 swing.
REASON: they are EXTREMELY RARE.
I play on this server since 1 year (or even more) now and farm UC regularly ā¦
Iāve been playing CE for years, and have always farmed UC regularly ā¦
never got it ā¦ not even once !
