So I’m aware that there is a issue with g portal servers due to lack of communication from PSN about conan being released for free this month. I wanted to describe the issues I’m facing so that this can help your developing team better fix this issue. Right now the major problem is glitched inventory, it will not show any inventory but will still show that the character is encumbered with items. I found that this is fixed through restarting the ps4 a random multitude of times, it was inconsistent each time it glitches. Sometimes it fixes after the first restart, sometimes after a whole day of restarting. The other problem is clipping issues and falling through buildings that refuse to render, its practically game breaking when this happens and you don’t die from fall damage because though you’re technically not falling but it shows that you are. The rest is just minor like rubber banding but that’s typical usually. I hope this info helps.

Regarding the buildings not loading, that’s an issue we’re tracking right now on PC and we’ve almost wrapped up patching it on that platform. Once it’s ready, we’re going to bundle all the hotfixes released and ship it to all platforms.
Regarding the PS4Pro issues, QA has started intensively testing performance in that system under different circumstances. They have started to isolate some of the possible issues that could be causing it.
Regarding crashes, our team fixed a crash internally caused by browsing the inventory on certain circumstances. We’ll release that fix as soon as possible. As always, please send your crash reports through the PS dashboard once they happen, so our team can look into them.

Hi Ignasis and other members of the community. As most would already know, some members of our community have been experiencing crashes. While I have been relatively fortunate in this department, aside from a handful of isolated incidents, others such as my partner were not so lucky. At one point in the past she was experiencing the CE-34878-0 crash almost every 10-12 mins, before we eventually able to get around this. At the time in my partners experiences, we observed the following. The crashes almost always occurred at her home/base which had grown quite large by that point. Based on a compilation of the relatively few bits of information I could find, we listed the most likely contributing factors (below) and made large scale reductions.
- Number of foundations blocks present at the base
- Amount of lighting present, eg-wall torches, braziers
- Number of thralls/pets guarding the base at any one given time
- The number of crafting stations working on existing tasks, and the backlog of given tasks there within
The good news is that it seemed to work, and this success has been expressed by a couple of other members on the forum too. Not too long thereafter, my partner gradually moved on from Conan Exiles and began playing other games. This was late last year sometime.
Since installing the Unnamed City update, she has now returned and resumed her adventures in the Exiled lands. Unfortunately, the crashes on her profile have returned too. Having been away from CE for so long, we honestly do not know if these crashes stem from the new update, or if they were just never entirely gone. So we repeated my afore mentioned steps and downsized even further, however it seems that it did not achieve the same effect this time. Furthermore, it now seems to occur in a wider variety of places too. She currently experiences on average around 1-4 crashes per day.
Currently, we are trying to gain a better understanding of when, why and how these crashes occur. The question on my mind is, are there any other known steps or precautions we as players can take on our end to reduce, or even potentially eliminate these crashes? It is strange, as her base is around the same size as mine, however I almost never have crashes. If it helps, as with myself, she plays only Offline, Singleplayer mode on the standard ps4. Her base is North-West of Hanumans Grotto at coordinates G,3 on the map.
Any help or recommendations would be super appreciated. Thankyou kindly any and all.

It takes more than 10 min to load objects in the game. When i go around the corner it takes again 10min to load at my base. When i go back again it takes again 10 min to load. I cant play every time my houses needs to load. I cant do anything. When i attack a animal it stuttering and is going everywhere i cant see where it goes. If i see another player it stuttering to. Ther is So much delays in the game. I cant play. When will it be fix for the ps4 pro users? Maybe a update?

My base doesn’t take as long to load but enemies are my issue, I love the game but I go in with a shield and sit there while the enemy doesn’t move and then they spring over to me and then I start attacking. I know your pain to an extent

Quick update: Our team submitted two internal fixes for performance and stuttering issues on Friday (they now need to go through QA), and they’re looking at the PS4Pro loading issues (invisible enemies).
Loading enemies, buildings, just stuttering in general. I can handle building loading but if enemies can be fixed I will be happy for now.

Hello guys,
I’ve done a video who last 8min (originally 40min) showing everything wrong with Conan Exiles on my PS4 Pro : Video
This was recorded in coop mode, I was alone when recording, I didn’t use any teleportation and of course, I don’t have an SSD (which I didn’t need for any games I’ve played before this one)
I’ve tried online and it feels different, NPCS are really fast compared to coop but many of them are glitching (running super fast, out of places etc)
Officials servers are really slow for my type of gameplay, I wouldn’t mind buying a server but paying for a 20 slots with +100Ping for 3 people at 16€/month is a stupid move.(PC does have a better pricing, less slots and more hosts over the internet)
My question is really simple : Do I need to buy an SSD so my friends/personnal experience can be more enjoyable ? (those bugs aren’t limited to the host BTW)
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.Download Conan Exiles on PS+ with a PS4 Pro
2.Launch the game
3.Play 30min and notice severe sound/textures/npc/loading issues
4.Buy the game on PC

Hi devs,
I’m currently playing the game on PS4 Pro. Loving it so far, but I have a few performance issues regarding the UI/Menus. When you open the map, either via menu or the right arrow, it sometimes freezes the game for about 8 seconds and then it opens the map. If you open the map again right after that, it loads fast. But if you go do something else and then try to open it again, it freezes again.
This also happens when you move from the inventory to the other tabs using [R2].
I have a very small base with 1 super small structure (1 floor, 8 squares), 3 wheels of pain, about 3 thralls and 3 pets.
And other stuff like torches, forges and basic crafting structures.
The game is also taking a while to render. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds to render the water wheel, for example.
My base is currently set up on the deer camp, on the desert on top of the Alligator Boss.
I have around 15 hours of gameplay, I guess.
Steps to reproduce the issues:
- Open the map via right arrow pad >
- The game freezes for a few seconds
- Open the menu
- Change tabs
- The game freezes for a few seconds
- Build a normal sized camp with basic crafting structures (I am level 29)
- Get away from it and come back later
- The rendering will take a lot of time. Even if you are a few steps from a structure, it will only render when you are close
So many problems, dont know where to start… Lags… Almost everywhere on the map it happens that my stamina is not going down and up for minutes, yes minutes not only seconds, after that i am either death or somewhere i never walked to. Yes walking is working but only for me all enemies stand still till they kill me.
Enemies in General dont move, well i know they do, but i cant see, because it lags. You know how this ends, with death of course.
Enemies are often not visible, same on purges half the enemies… you know the drill.
The base is loading not right. Here also not seconds, you have to wait up to 3 minutes till the building is loaded. Even if you stand right before it.
I want to say that i play on a private server (mine) and i contacted gportal. They changed a few things after i made a ticket, but the performance is still really bad. Played this also on a private server (also mine) last june and july and i had never problems like this. In this state its absolutely unplayable!!!
I have the same issues as the speaker on his PS4 pro, only I am on regular PS4 purchased 11/15/2013.
This game was sputtering bad before this recent update. It has become unplayable after the PS4 update 1.38 I think?
- When I die and spawn in, I’m stuck on my bed or glitched in a wall or stuck in some object for 2 minutes.
- Everything takes 1 minute to render in

I am a devout Destiny 2 player. I downloaded this game because it’s free this month in Playstation 4 store. I’ve been playing it non stop since April 1st. I am going to buy this game and all dlc. It’s everything I’ve missed since Everquest. But, if it’s unplayable it’s frustrating. I don’t want to uninstall and lose it all. I’ve already survived 1 purge. The next purge is coming soon… maybe I’ll uninstall it after that. :, (

Hi, it’s only beginning, you will find many bug, error. We gave up after 1000 hour played, when we cant login to server day by day, after conan in PS+.

So, after this recent PS4 update, when I die, I can no longer see my Tombstone on the map and lose everything. Plus the stuttering and freezing has got worse even after reinstalled the game. I love this game but am having so many issues lagging, freezing and losing gear and pets to lag, where can I open a support ticket?
