Not true, imho. Spirit owls, 5 x spirit owls. Heal from #1, dismiss, summon #2, heal, dismiss…repeat till you cycle back to #1…can be used on friendlies too…heal just as much as a healer…
What on earth do spirit owls and healing have to do with berserkers?

If you don’t like an idea fine. Don’t like an opinion also fine. You don’t have the right however to dictate what others are allowed to post in this forum. If something breaks the rules I am confident that the mods will take care of it aside from that if I don’t like a thread I simply don’t participate in it simple as that. I don’t try to belittle the poster or insult other posters who post in it either.
If all you are going to “add” to posts is vileness why not just not post it and do something else with your time and allow others to discussion things in a forum.

Was there a post between 103 and 104 that got silently deleted by the mods? Because if you’re really reacting to Zeb’s post, then I don’t understand what set you off.
It’s basically the same as saying “may this thread rest in peace”, in a tongue-in-cheek way, because the last 5 posts before hers were way off-topic and the thread would’ve been auto-closed from lack of interest if you hadn’t bumped it with an off-topic post.
So I really have no idea what set you off, but daaaaamn, that was some vitriol out of nowhere…

To understand you would need to read through the whole thread . There are two who have made an attempt in not just this thread but others as well to shut them down by being as nasty and condescending and disrespectful as possible. Many of their posts have boiled down to “gitgud” or “quit whining” while offering little else, but other types of belittling comments aimed at saying their opinions are superior to others in the threads. I will not name and shame them, but I have no doubt at all that regulars on these forums know who they are.
Tongue and cheek as you put it could also be seen as unnecessary and aimed again as a “shut up” and/or “go away” both of which are not theirs call to make. I would love someone to say the words in paraphrase quotes are respectful replies to make in a discussion ?
Also to the off topic comments, those comments were answering the comments they were replied to. They may have been late, but I do have limited time at points and only have time to comment on replies to threads when I can. Late replies are not against the rules as I have read them though I might have missed something.
Also the post you are referring to was restored after being hidden through no intervention from me at all as I was offline at the time. It seems that others must have agreed that it be allowed to stay visible and maybe this was because it needed to be seen.
Bottomline: If you don’t like someone’s suggestion or opinion that is fine. Not liking someone’s suggestion or opinion, however doesn’t give you the right to be disrespectful to the poster . You will notice at no time was I disrespectful in my post and that I in fact was calling for the respect of all posts and posters. If calling for respect is considered vileness and vitriol then we do indeed have an issue on this forum.

“Nothing else is required to be said”, Nothing is “required” to be said as this is a voluntary forum and no one is forced to post anything.
“This topic went off course multiple times”, I pointed this out myself in the disrespectful comments that only aimed at discouraging any opinions that didn’t follow two people.
“And never truly stayed to the original topic line”, False despite many attempts to the contrary.
The Berserkers respawn so quick that they actually remove any reason to farm any other thralls besides Surge ones. No matter the gear given to or fully leveling of the other level 3 or lower thralls these thralls will be easily destroyed one on one or in groups by a berserker . Could we maybe buff the stats to the other thralls so that they are not made meaningless to the berserker ?

Be careful, you call out the gang mentality, they will rally even harder. FYI, if you get to amount that certain posters seem redundancy attacking and not discussing, you can click on thier name and ignore them all together. It is sooooo freeing. And I don’t necessarily agree with your opinion, but you can have it, and should express it and another you have about the game. I like seeing other pov so I can reassess if I may see it that way.

Agreed. Opposing opinions are important and healthy as long as respect is maintained. And thank you for the tip I did not know that option existed. I kept hoping that reason would prevail. You ask for nerfs you get hammered. You ask for buffs you get hammered. You suggest change at all and someone will go overboard on disagreement and not stop at the subject.
This game has had many things changed back and forth over the years in the attempt at balance and I hope they do not give up on improving the experience as long as they can.

Listen to this, please. I long for the days when a dev came out with a title and it was just. a CromDamn. game. I walked out of a mall with a copy of DOOM2 on release day. iD said “here’s the flippin game, take it or leave it.”
Conan Exiles was developed as an Early Access title where we all (myself included) talked up a storm, cried about stuff and eventually got banned for it. That was then.
I mean this sincerely. Sincerely. I just want to kill people and build stuff including trebs to break their stuff while they turtle. I’ve been waiting for so long just to feel like we have a system that fulfills the first part. NOW it feels like we’re getting there.
We lived through 4.5 years of twitterocracy, and leaders “caring” what social media thinks, and stars changing their career paths because their followers said so. It’s time to get back to Joel. Can we just get to where this game is the game, and we’re happy? I know you think your opinion is important, but can we leave game design to the professionals who make it their passion to design games?

I know my opinion is as important as anyone (non-mod) else’s opinion on this forum as is yours. Strange that you would say something like that. This is a forum after all. If they didn’t want our opinions speaking of Joel and the others that develop this game they would not provide this very forum we are having a discussion on.
I have never been banned for my opinion on this forum for any ideas I have had and I have also been playing since early access. I have had mods say they would forward suggestions made to the developers .
The developers have been making changes still that people ask for not all of them of course. This is as it should be. Why would you think that a professional game designer would not want feedback about their game from their customers given that they even again provide a forum for us to express it ??
I was being direct. Now I’m being direct-ER. There needs to be more light and less heat around here. This is an observation as a player.

Agreed. I have been asking for discussion as well. As well as letting others have their opinions and others have taken offense to this and in turn have been disrespectful simply because their opinion does not agree with theirs .
I have. I know it’s difficult to believe, but I don’t post my opinions in every thread I read 
I’m not even going to go into that. I have my opinions on who was respectful and who might not have been, on how the criticism was offered and how you handled it, but discussing that stuff would only make this thread toxic.
Anyway, all of that is quite beside the point you missed:
Let me offer you a bit of insight here: anyone who wanted your thread to go away would have just let it be auto-closed due to inactivity. And if you kept bumping it*, there are ways to deal with that: obvious bumps are against the forum guidelines and can be flagged as such, whereas off-topic bumps can be flagged as off-topic. 
What @anon83039162 did was the exact opposite of letting your thread die: she posted to it, even if it’s off-topic banter, which “refreshed its decay counter”, to use a metaphor we all love

I merely asked you what vileness you saw in Zeb’s post.
As for the vitriol, what would you call your reaction? In all the time I’ve spent on the forums, I’ve never known @anon83039162 to be “vile”. True, she uses memes in a manner I would call playful, and only very occasionally sardonic, but a joke about the thread going wildly off-topic is about as “vile” as my comment about a thread that got necroed.
At any rate, all I’m trying to say is that I think you misjudged a post and overreacted, but that’s just my opinion. I’d rather shut up about it and maybe hope things will stop going more toxic than they already are.
* Don’t get me wrong, I’m not implying you were bumping it on purpose. I’m just explaining the effects of your posts on the lifecycle of the thread.

Then allow me to retort:
I enjoy all forms of PvP: including DOOM, chess, scrabble, tennis, Age of Empires and lately, Conan.
In Age of Empires II there are relics on the map. They exist. Players can craft monks and go collect them, and when one player has them all, a countdown starts until the end of game.
This isn’t AOE (Age of Kings), but in Exiled Lands there are clearly two designed “pockets” for late-game necessities. One is star metal, the other is readily-available man and womanpower resources (zerks and Timey the B-Boy). These two things alone are high-end “mines” that need to be controlled.
These mines or choke points can then be regulated by the Alpha on the server, such that conflict, allegiance or attrition is made inevitable.
I think it’s important to have these resources and “fight zones” on Siptah too.

There is currently a thread about a different thrall that is “so good no one ever uses anything else”
It’s not a purge thrall and not nearly as rare as many named thralls
Zerks are top tier thralls, but they’re plenty of other thralls who are also top tier and the opinions about who is actually the best seems to vary pretty widely.
I also think you completely misinterpreted Zeb, which can easily happen. I’m sure she didn’t mean to attack you or hurt your feelings.

I saw it as a post that was meant to have a post they did not like not die and my responding to replies late did not allow for that. Again I do not want to rehash what was said as it is still readable in previous parts of this thread.
I did not name anyone in that earlier post for a reason as the result would be in the same vein as being disrespectful to their opinions personally.
This thread was not meant to be taken personally it was taken to show a cause and effect relationship to having a vastly more powerful thrall that crushes all others being available in a camp on a regular spawning rate higher than a named thrall and not subject to be gained through special means (ie. surge, purge, etc.) .
It seemed throughout posts from a couple that they did take it personally that someone suggested removing the thrall or balance it with others on the same spawn levels and that the reasoning for this feedback was because of lack of knowledge or skill at the game. So following this line of reasoning that the thread was simply made because of these perceived lacks. This was not the case and was made apparent, but this was the opinion stated as a fact many times.
Understand if your ideas don’t fall in line with the Conan Exiles Forums Creedo
Then the forums will come after you. I for one enjoy opinions, as long as they are rooted and better the gMe for all, not just personal playtime. The main issue with any meta thrall is, Funcom hasn’t figured how to make each a part of scissors/paper/rock combat balance.
