Poitain armor stinks though, because Accuracy on Knight armor makes angels go so whenever one is crafted, it’s instantly funky smelling.
I’m not against Archers or Archer armor (obviously).

I’m Japanese… so I’d love to see more Khitan or Yama in general…
Or itlest find Khitan thralls since the game lacks them.
I think most of what I remember from stories I have read… is all outside the exiled lands… its kinda not part of of world.
I’m kinda drawing a blank honestly… Outside more lore into island and ghost that sings or somthing.
I’d love to see both, but I have an Ophirian Prince character that I play on occasion, so I’m a bit biased.
There are likely pockets of Acheronians hidden in the Karpash Mountains in Ophir, and also Zamora, and in Stygia. I also wouldn’t be surprised if there were a sizable population of them living in the Border Kingdoms as well. They would likely be behind a lot of hidden cults, and blood rituals in these places.
They’re the Hyborian Boogeymen.
Hyboogie men. And snake cults, gotta love the snake cults
I will stand with sera 67. I would like to see original asian characters to the game. It is something that the game really needs. It would be really nice to have a new map part full of pagodas and Chinese or Japanese characters, it would be lovely. New e motes and geisha wearables for dancers. Yes i would love this a lot. Still whatever new, is very welcome. All the opinions here, were fantastic either.
I really think we need Pimp Bots
Amazonia
Hyrkania ! With the addition of horses in the game I would like more AoC hyrkanian armors, yurts, nomads items, epic tier recurve bows, etc.
Id like a good yurt.
Well it is thoroughly explored in-game already, but I love the Darfari culture. I love what the Savage Sword of Conan has done with them, and I love what the game here does with them.
I love horror movies so perhaps this is why I appreciate the Darfari. There is something that reaches safely to my darker self about about these primal cannibals who revel in bloodlust and cruel sacrifices. Primal people, even for that time period in the Conan universe, in and out of the Exiled lands who even the more civilized and evolved have learned to fear.
My tribute to them is great. My headquarters are adorned with skulls and Darfari chimes, my kitchen is filled with mounted arms and legs and I have crude, ugly Darfari weapons on the walls. My house is morbid af lol XD
I realize that most of what I know of Conan comes from the secondary sources like comic books but I began with that as a kid, the original stories are actually the last Conan related things I have explored. Purists may not like my answer as my view of the Darfari comes from adaptations, but what can I say.
I have learned some facts about these tribes, in game and out; the Darfari do wish to evolve, at least the Darfari sword description says so.
Their god Yog may not actually be a god, but rather a very powerful demon.
The Darfari are captured and used as slaves.
Thanks for shedding some light on it for me Mikey. However, this also prompted me to do some digging of my own, and I did manage to happen upon some more information on a Fandom site, but more so in Kull the Conquerer and Solomon Kane sources:
…Mu is only mentioned in two stories in the Kull saga: “The Shadow Kingdom” and “Riders Beyond the Sunrise”. Both times, no real information other than its name and the fact that it sends mercenaries to Valusia is imparted to us. Fortunately, there are two other Howard stories that tell of Mu. One is a Solomon Kane story, “The Moon of Skulls”, and the other is a story fragment called “The Isle of the Eons”. In “The Moon of Skulls” we learn that Mu’s capital city has crimson walls, and that it was swallowed by the waves at the same time as Atlantis. “The Isle of the Eons” tells us much, much more. Mu was a continent-sized landmass lying in what is now called the “South Seas”, the area of the Pacific Ocean south and east of the Lemurian Islands. There are twenty cities and millions of people on the continent. The capital of Mu is called Karath, the Shining City. The people of Mu are connected to Lemuria as they share the same alphabet and presumably the same language. The story tells the history of a religious war, where the nation’s god, Poseidon, is flung down and the worship of the First God, Xultha, is reinstated. High up in the mountains of Valla, a new capital is built, called Na-hor, the City of the Cresent Moon. From this city, priests of Xultha were sent to the Seven Empires, Atlantis, and a place called “The Islands of the Sea”. After a time, the god Poseidon returns and submerges the continent, so that only the tops of the mountains of Valla remain above the sea. The city of Na-hor flourished for several ages, at last falling into ruin near the end of the Hyborian Age…
Here is a map of Hyboria should anyone want it for reference.
Nice! I don’t now why, but I love maps! They create a “real” world in our minds!
Lets have that map!
Not to sound nitpicky, but there is no “official” map of Hyboria. There are several variants that are based on directions given in the original stories, coupled with modern geography and plate movements. It’s really hard to take any for what they are, as Howard never gave us an actual working map to go off, just relative directions and references to future locations. This map here differs from the one I possess in my book, the Gollancz publication of the complete chronicles of Conan.
Here are some maps drawn in 1932, they are from a book I own of Howard Conan stories. Sorry for the bad pics, it was hard keeping book open and taking pictures with my tablet.
It’s neat that so many of you are really into Vendhya! I’ll definitely read more into it, but it sounds like it’d be such a cool addition to the game.
Also, there’s nothing I love more than fantasy/imaginary maps.
Vendhya sounds boring… conan steals their queen and rides outta town… meh
Gimme kush!
