It’s a patch on all platforms. They omitted the announcement and changelog I guess.
It’s part of the lack of a communication strategy.

Doesn’t have to? They already know what they changed, and they know when they will push it.
Yeah my server is modded so I doubt I’ll really know how it went until at least tomorrow. Especially since they only released the devkit for modders with 2 days to make their own updates.

So the apparent attempt to kill the modded community contiunes unabated… I’m honestly stunned that any modders are still trying after the way they have been treated recently. (And by recently I of course mean recent years…)
