I don’t see the server transfer option anymore. Was it removed?
Is it no longer possible to go to Siptah and back again?
It’s been that way since June.

Any hope in it returning?
I haven’t kept up on transfers since they were disabled.
It would be announced if there was anything official on it returning.
…and there would be a ton of new topics about the subject, good and bad. lol
They should work on this ASAP. How are we to take Isle of Siptah benefits to exiled lands without this feature?
There are a whole bunch of posts on transfers.
Probably could find that discussed in several of them
I want the transfers too, but for the opposite reasons! I don’t want to take the benefits of Siptah in EL, they are useless there, I want to take the Knowledge of EL to Siptah which is highly important! It saves you from endless hours of rng to gain basic game mechanics! But if midnight alchemist was out of rng in Siptah then probably I wouldn’t do this either. Siptah gear is a beast too, having Master upgrades is a small bonus!
Honestly I just want some of the thralls and cosmetic statues there.
I just want to play Siptah with my already created char and not start from scratch. This transfer thing is annoying.
Indeed, I totally agree on this one. They said something like after the new year, let’s hope they will made it. @darthphysicist has a stream cap of the last stream, I am pretty certain they speaked about it on the last stream!
Den did mention it’s on their radar to fix but nothing to note to report to us.
With Siptah (even in 3.0) still having items that boost your character better than the standard game (sigils, vault armor and weapons) this is still considered a Pay-2-Win, IMHO. While I would love gloves of jhil, annoying shard, and feroxic in EL, it can’t come at a cost of other players in EL don’t have access to these things and can’t compete without spending the $20.
Can’t those players still use those items if they buy it from a Siptah player? I was given some Siptah stuff on EL, but then again I have the expansion…
Siptah and before are handled differently. Those dlc could just be handed out by someone who could craft them. Siptah is even a little more different because much of the content can be included via mods (the recipes and such, the creatures, etc) but the map itself is primarily whats off limits (and the stormglass).
And eldarium. Can’t forget that. It’s what fuels the meta over there
And that’s the problem. The guy with the dlc can arm who he wants and the dominate EL as other players are trying to figure out why their enemies don’t need to manage their stamina or have bleed on everything or a short sword that poisons and still hits like a truck.
Then they can disallow it for PvP servers. But with PvE and PvEC we should be able to do our content.
But honestly even with PvP servers… basically we bought an expansion and can’t play it unless we reroll… I know this ain’t a MMORPG but it does take a lot of hours to lvl a char and get good gear and all that. It’s not exactly a DotA game where I can just hop on another server for a different map.
There’s a common misconception that P2W stuff doesn’t affect PVE and only PVP. So yes while you are not engaging with another player in direct confrontation in a PVE setting. You still have competitiveness in a PVE sense.
If someone has equipment that gives them an edge in PVP, its going to give them an edge in PVE. They’ll be able to farm materials, kill bosses, and all that other PVE stuff just a tad faster than you can. For many that doesn’t really matter. For just as many, it does.
Also, PVE-C has PVP combat during certain hours. Its going to make a good difference there during those hours.
P2W means you can’t win without it. PvE you can win just fine. I played PvEC without any Siptah stuff until now.
I think you will find many disagree with that sentiment.
If that’s the standard, then T4 Crafted Armor and Weapons being offered on the Bazaar wouldn’t be P2W since you neither need it to win, and still have another method of obtaining it in gameplay.
For most of us, P2W is any sort of statistical improvement beyond cosmetic.
Yep and there are some things in the Bazaar and BP that I feel are P2W but only for us clever folk and not something that can be min-maxed. (Like ivy covering for the walls?..holy heck camo for the bases are coming)
You mean Ivy Shielding? If they block attacks until destroyed.
