Okay yall lets get into this and etc lets keep the comment feedback oriented and push to make the base game better and etc exploits hacks bans we already talked about that before. I want to discuss main base game and how it plays etc…
One thing with the updated perk system that has bugged me is the expertise/encom builds…How does a gumba/mario build even make a lick of sense? You can double jump over-encumbered but roll like a fat rat etc And to top it off you insta kill someone. Wtf lol this needs removed or balanced especially with the attribute overhaul it is just waaay too much atm lol just makes pvp straight silly and no real pvp happens just nakeds trolling and or ruining the pvp experience for everyone. The issue is the no stam taken on the jump, the desync the server has that makes you basically float and or fly in the sky and the lag making the enemy seem like they didnt land on you but insta killed you.
Now i am not one to say it shouldnt be in the game by all means… kill someone you jump or fall on… but not double jump and waste no stam and just get free kills. That is straight no skill cheese. Even after they made encom builds able to fight with this new system. So we need to really address that issue as of right now. And the great axe is sooo good. Been using it now and it is honestly the Bow but for melee weapons if youre pvping and you arent using a great axe… youre doing it wrong.
Great axe can half an enemy hp bar in 1 swing that is the star metal Great axe. I love the Great axe for this but it is a bit much to be fair. And should really be looked into if not adjusted to fit a bit better with its phantom range and etc. Bows heavy attacks hit harder than spear heavy attacks and the light bow attacks hit the same as spear heavy attacks which make no sense that needs looked at. A heavy bow should do close to spear heavy damage unless fully charged imho but i can stand down on this.
Mainly what i wanna see is pvp be …pvp again. This naked rocks build jumping on peoples head and yhe duping and all of that is just crazy as there was YET ANOTHER method found out about and another combat exploit me and my guys found out about and told @Caroll which has been helpful for the most part. Lets do our part pvp community lets get the pvp we want back.
Edit 1: so i wanted to add thst thevweps arent the core debate on this thread. Its the gumba being broken. Not just that but also note last stand and berserker perks let you get bodied but stay alive and run needs some tweaking imho
Obviously Tower of the Elephant is a crucial element of CE. I’d propose making it require you to stand on someone’s head for no less than a half-second before it triggers rather than instant. This should make it far more difficult to use as a viable combat tactic while not removing it outright or nerfing the perks.
I’d say you have to have a certain speed for the tower of the elephant kill…not just jumping from 1 foundation high but about 5 foundations high and remove the over encumbered requirement…any one can insta kill if you can 1) get the person under you while you are 5 foundations high and 2) can land the fall onto their head.
It is “Variable” meaning its weight, damage, and armor pen have variable values when crafted. They can be 1.15 X better or worse than the base values. Therefore a god-rolled greatsword of the legion using a bladesmith is 87 damage, 27 armor pen without a kit or oil on it. All of the Legion weapons are like this.
To little to late I’m afraid. Not much of a pvp community in these forums. The great axe is very much not a issue so refrain from the nerf talk as you’ll just get negative feedback. Let’s be honest though it’s a weapon that is really only used for running attacks and that’s about it.
Funcom doesn’t tweak things they just make them useless
Yeah let’s not do balance changes around pings. That’s a server admin problem. In this case you need to speak to them in the method they decided (Discord/Zendesk).
