Sep 1st 2023. The update was implemented and thrall decay was reduced to 24 hours much to the surprise of player and dev alike. Hundreds of thralls blipped out of existence as people logged in. It was so bad that FC rolled back the servers.
Ah well, a weekend lost.
But yeah, it was the correct solution: better 1 weekend lost for a few people than months/years of work for many others.
I just would like to propose the dev team to start working on alternative recovery procedures for single players and not server-wide. Not just for these situations, but for specific bugs like the one of Nemedian Foundations.
