Separate TestLive Product on Steam
We heard your input regarding the inconvenience with having to switch back and forth between the main game and our TestLive servers. To make it easier for you and because we really value your testing and feedback, we added a separate product for the TestLive server on Steam.
If you own Conan Exiles on Steam, you should now see a separate Product called “Conan Exiles - Testlive Client” in your library which gives you the option to install an additional instance of the game specifically for the TestLive servers. Please be aware that this will prompt you for a full additional installation.
We are aware that not everyone wants install or has space for two full installations. For those of you who don’t want to play through the additional TestLive Client, you can still access the TestLive servers through our old method.
this bug is there since a very long time , I don’t know what triggers it , but when you have 500+ oil in firecamp or any bench that use oil / bark , to work will act strangely from time to time and insta cook or smelt or tan all what’s inside in a few seconds , I lost a lot of good fishes ( improved fishtraps) with this bug turning them instantly to cooked fish then putrid meat , in the other hand when it happens on smelting stations it feels better but dirty like an exploit … ( aslo the 1000 oil I have turn almost instantly to 520 ~ 550 oil remaining )
so now I always turn on fire before putting my fish to cook , at least the only thing I loose is the ~400 oil
I’ve experienced my first fatal crash since this patch released. I was in the middle of combat against human NPC’s when it occurred. If you need the full log file, please let me know. The tail end of the log file follows:
please don’t harm again game, take time to release it, we dont need more glitch/bug , please fix first human body vault (corpse disapearing with full inventory at each server restart allowing to hide your assets), fix first ability to go outside green wall, fix first ability to build outside of green wall, fix first ability to build & go undermesh. balance weapon (so many weapons nerfed to death so they are totally useless), revert for thralls to previous version (before you nerfed them), you nerfed thrall because of a thrall pork bug !!! a game is not supposed not be balanced because of bug…
The “bug” being that the revision number is also shown on PC Live, not just TestLive (correct, @Jim1?).
This was fixed in the June 29, 2020 PC hotfix:
Removed build revision call-out from the bottom corner of the screen.(1)
Do you no longer see a revision number on TestLive? (this could be unintended);
They’re seperate clients, but it’s possible TestLive had its revision number removed as well, since it’s running a version in which the revision number has been removed for Live. I personally don’t know if TestLive is supposed to display this revision number, though.
That bug exists since a very long time, works with any bench or workplace, as far as i have seen, it doesn’t “insta-craft” everything but reduces the crafting time as if the thrall were there since the begining
