You didn’t accidentally accept a invitation to clan with some one. If so they could kick you out and take over
Does your base show a clan name and did you have one before.

Yeah, my guess is op accepted someone’s clan invite by mistake and got kicked afterwards. Sadly, not much can be done in this case which is why solo players are always advised to create a clan even if they intend to remain alone in it.

I am afraid you are right. We will know more when we get a response. It is like those pvp banners you just smack some buttons and try to get out of there.

Since I am a solo player, I occasionally create a solo clan temporarily, but usually I do not create a clan.

If you create a solo clan and then leave it, I think you lose everything.

I not sure that is what happened to you. So you still have your original character right. Make a wooden repair hammer and check the decay timer on your base

If it’s going into a state of decay try to be there to get as much of your stuff back as you can. Put a chest down close so you have some storage maybe you can salvage your best items

I would like to add: Don´t destroy a normal structure piece at first. Start to delete doors to get your chests and then delete the chests like sestus said.

You will probably have to bust a wall to get items from weapons and shield rack if you play pve. Not sure I play on my server and some other privates
