Player thralls now follow same rules as buildings for taking damage from players. Both PvE and PvE-Conflict servers will have invincible thralls.

The patch notes lie. There’s a ‘lot’ of reports on these forums about thralls being murdered in PvE.

I just confirmed that this bug exists on Xbox as well. “PvE: Only creatures and NPCs can harm you if you’re playing on a PvE server: thralls won’t attack players, and players can’t attack thralls.” I just ran up to and punched someone’s fighter. He did not attack back but he did take damage.
