I cannot discuss the details of private communications, but can confirm this issue is receiving direct attention. Someone will post an update when there’s more to share.
Honestly, I’m just glad to see this wasn’t an issue on my end - I had just started playing the game yesterday only to experience constant disconnects to unplayable levels past 2200 EST. I was searching online for any announcements, server status, etc. It’s weird to me to dig through a forum to get any kind of updates - much less from the active player base instead of an ‘official announcement’.
Yes, this is a very unfortunate trend that has been taking place for the past years. Funcom is very much absent in the realm of communications, and this leads to way too many misinformations and overall frustration from the playerbase.
As with most things, being kept in the dark is what leads to the feeling of frustration, feeling unrespected as a customer, and ultimately leaving an otherwise lovely game.

i dont have discord and cannot check there for updates you would think the official forum would be the place to post information. These kind of things happen so often and everytime i am sure they are losing players i would not recommend my friends to play this game as this kind of thing would drive them away. it is bad enough not being able to play but much worse that we are in the dark as to if it is even being fixed and when.
At the moment the servers are stable. There is not word from any FC officials, but people in the Discord report it being stable for more than the usual crashing interval. The cause was allegedly someone trying to prove a point towards FC. There are no official words from FC but that’s that.

Game is already down again, until funcom says its back for good, consider its down for good.
They wish us happy weekened, means afk untill monday working hours. No explanation whats so ever about the crashes still for a week. New issue with the registration… realy? Who would like to register new accounts when the game keeps crashing… what a joke.
sorry but 6 months for a support request is more than ridiculous.
I agree with the thread creator, either you take care of your players or shut down the servers.
