It would be nice if FunCom issued a partial refund/credit due to the confusion over the Yamatai Pillows, it was an expensive set to be way more decorative than functional. In my case the pillows and low tables will have no use
I wanted to post the same thing. It’s really scummy on their part. They could’ve prevented the so called “confusion” by adding a simple detailed description on these bazaar items. They’ve done the same thing with the cape. Again, total scumbaggery. I don’t need a refund but I’ll be very careful next time when buying stuff from Funcom or at least wait for reviews.
this is funny and sad, but you really think there will be some refund? this one is lesser of all issues ever happened to game after any new update…

Now there is still update at dec and all went on vacation even purges is bugged camels not growing, and players was banned -
at that there should be free crom coins to everyone affected by these glitches after each update, but at this point i am more on this path
modders at this point do better updates than actual corporation that shoudl fix game and only then add new stuff for money…
so if this all was not fixed, what makes you think there will be refund on one item as pillow ? 
edit : oh wait my apologise, finally seems fixed purge and camels at hotwix 2 
because it is easy. They do not roll back servers, or admin replace lost items, they do however at times give double weekends and such, maybe this will be easy for them and help make some people happy. Will they do it??? more than likely not
Yes they should leave well enough alone…or maybe hire some of these modders.

but yes i dont think they will do any refund or crom coin as sorry for killing rented servers with banning everyone randomly for 4 days that is like 2.50$
it is ok when players waste money thanks to faulty and buggy updates but never ok if corporation may loose something 
It is very sad. I feel deceived, like all those who wrote about this!
We paid money for non-existent functionality.
This is a false advertising case. The image is misleading and creates an impression that you can build a fully functional tavern using this set, while in fact you cannot. You can’t have a functional Yamatai style tavern, because patrons only sit on chairs. But if you put a chair next to a small table, this is no longer a Yamatai style. And if you use the pillows, this is not a functioning tavern.
How to fix that?

I agree, it is really scummy. They should offer refunds or discount coupons to people who bought it under the assumption that the pillows would work as chairs. 
Funcom sold us a table and seating set with seating that doesn’t actually function? What a surprise. No other seating in the game is low enough to be used with the table. If you aren’t going to remedy this and properly update the pillows with a sitting animation for players and thralls, then you need to refund every customer who purchased the set and add this information to the description in the shop very clearly stating that you cannot actually interact with or sit in the seats.
Someone forgot about the Lost Dungeon set and its misleading preview image. They won’t refund or discount anyone. Sadly. There were A LOT of unhappy people with the Lost Dungeon set. This is likely why they made the expansion set with normal pieces… that we had to buy.
Funcom’s click bait in bazaar items… Really high priced yamatai tavern set 2457 crom coins and then after a month or so of forum reports and wanting fixes… they switch it up saying its not a functioning seat but a decorative item now… oops there goes your money… hehehehehe… 
The next move should be Funcom reintroducing the “kneel” and “cross-legged sit” emotes in the Bazaar. This way, players who bought the Yamatai Tavern pack will be encouraged to purchase emotes that go well with the pillows. After all, if I’ve already spent nearly 2.5k CC to get the pack, what’s the harm in splurging another 800 CC to have the emotes that go along with it?
What a perfect strategy! Let’s acknowledge that Funcom is brilliant at making money! Surely, when the “sit” emotes return to the Bazaar, they will sell like hotcakes (just like yamatai pack). If it were already possible to sit on the pillows, they wouldn’t sell nearly as much. It’s thanks to this market intelligence and strategies that I believe Conan will still have a long life!
And they won’t care. Same deal we had with initial lost dungeon set.

im not gonna buy anything more frome that baazar the price we just went for that tavern set and funcome just change the SEATING PILLOW to decoration and not even trying to put enoght effort into it a making it working so not okay
I’m conflicted… I kind of want to say “you have my sympathies” for buying something and being misled, but on the other hand… really??? You really thought anything you gave a ridiculous amount of money to this company for was going to have any quality? I resent every person who spends a single dollar on the bazaar because they are financially supporting Funkhram pursuing a path that is ruinous to actual gameplay.
In any case, it’s not like Funkhram has managed to figure out how to get NPCs to sit on chairs either… every tavern is a carnival of incompetence with NPCs sitting in random directions, floating in the air, sitting half-embedded in a wall or some other object. So all you’re really missing out on is having NPCs do the QWOP on pillows.

What the heck functionality does a pillow in this game normally have?
The only functional pillow I’ve seen in this game is in a mod that allows players to do e-rotic BDSM animations together.
You can sit on it (using (E) point at X)… all the same: chair, bench, stool & yeah != Pillow.
It’s such a shame…
