Hello funcom, me again. This time with no reason (as always) when I jogged out from the game, after 10mins my altar t2 with my chest, disappeared. Lost stability, the altar was on top of my maproom, decay timer was normal. Now, I just spent like 5-6 hours to farming those zeals, and then, I lost everything, at this point after like 5 years of conan, im pretty annoyed. I really want a “refund” or something like that, or in-game stuff. We can’t like waste time to lose stuff NOT even from raids, but from bugs.

Did you by any chance tried to upgrade the altar , then logged out ?
I ask because there is indeed 2 " bugs" when upgrading , one is that you may have placed walls/decorations too close to the altar ( that changes shape after being upgraded ) and this can indeed make it disapear since the decoration/wall is already there … the other seems to be that upgrading an altar and leaving render range , might result in a failed upgrade and the altar also disapear.
the chest you are speaking off , was it positioned on the altar or very close to it ? if you upgraded the altar with a chest closeby/ on it then it’s the first bug if not it might be the 2nd … sorry for your loss , but funcom won’t do anything to “refund” you , you can check the TOS on this forum pinned at the top .

Thanks for the quick reply, the chest was on top yeah. It never happened to me, tbh… that’s pretty weird. And it was upgrading like 10 hours before, so idk!
yeah depending on the altar and the number of the upgrade the model might change very little to a lot , for example jhebal sag altar will “move forward”/“expand” half a fundation from tier 2 to tier 3 at the front of it . the best way to do upgrades , is to do them first then place chest and decorations , or removing decorations prior to an upgrade and putting them back after the upgrade is complete, and stay near the altar while doing so ( in render range ) , we all learned it the hard way like you. it’s workarounds but I hope it helps you for your future upgrades

I was upgrading yesterday night, and today was ok, I noticed that is gone from the event log, I always used chests on top of benches and stuff. But yeah could be something that I can put after the full upgrade. What TOS are u talking about? can u send me please? I lost one of my old char with the “upload” when transfer was still a thing, Then, I still have another char uploaded. ect ect Tons og bugs, i like conan but yeah, kinda frustrating.
it was part of the official server rules before named Terms of Service , renamed Terms of conduct now , it says caused by any infraction , but It should also include bugs from the game. as it’s has always been like this ( for in game items loss )

Unfortunately that won’t happen since then .
I still connect to my solo game from time to time but as you can compare my time played since then barely evolved compared to if I was still really playing the game like before :

I’ve had similar thing happen. Not to religious altar though, but to a Guardian assembly station, that I just put ontop of just sandstone foundation and right next to it a large chest I filled with all golem parts I had… and they just all “lost stability” overnight for no reason on PVE server. RIP all those parts. #1090 official server, quite a few months ago though.
